At the SCRS (Seiko Cup Rally Series), talented young drivers hope to advance to the WRC (World Rally Championship).

Atsuhiro Hiyama (Masahiro Higashide) is the chief mechanic and an engineer at Supika Racing Factory. He is well regarded by his peers. His younger brother is Naozumi (Mackenyu Arata). He is an extremely gifted driver for Supika Racing Factory, but he is also a troublemaker. They continually argue because of Naozumi's reckless racing style. One day, Hikaru Endo (Aoi Morikawa) becomes his manager.

renai kisoku Mar 11 2021 11:11 am I'm a little bit disappointed with Aoi's acting, she's too stiff and lame.. sometimes her expression isn't fit with the situation or off the line, it could be good if Aoi gets replaced by Tao Tsuchiya or Kanna Hashimoto, other than that just very impressive!

William Vu Aug 24 2020 6:00 pm You know this reminds me of the unrelated film "Overdrive", which stars Scott Eastwood, Freddie Thorp, Ana de Armas and Gaia Weiss. This unrelated French film is the same name as the Japanese film.

However, Scott Eastwood and Mackenyu are both appeared in Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018), which is a sequel to 2013 film, Pacific Rim.

Gangga Dewi Jul 12 2020 9:54 am a great movie! im very much late to the party but this movie is not boring at all!! quite not satisfied with aoi morikawa's part tho, her character is way too lame, but other than that, i might just say the production of this movie overall is one of the best i've seen from a japanese movie.

Roadrunner Impala Mar 02 2019 12:21 pm it seems similar title with English version a year before but this film particular involved into rally series while the other version depicts about car heist. i'm totally proud that one scene in the movie took place in Malaysia, state of Johor, to be precise for rally series. i'm Malaysian, you know... hahaha... plus, one Malaysian racer named Fairuz Badawi getting into top 5 in checklist racer board. not knowing this guy 'cause not famous yet but not bad seeing him on the list. in post end credit, i seeing name of some Malaysian crew involved. appreciate that they give some recognition to Malaysia in this film. overall, the film is great and cast are doing good in their acting.
