- Based on novel "Futatsu no Sokoku" by Toyoko Yamasaki (published from June 26, 1980 to August 11, 1983 in Japanese weekly news magazine Shukan Shincho). Novel is based on the life of Japanese-American Akira Itami who worked as the head translator during the Tokyo trials.
