Rabbit Ears Apr 22 2018 11:30 am This Katsuya Kobayashi is part of Snakeman Show, a famous comedy group from Osaka, most known outside of Japan for collaborating with both YMO and post-YMO project Human Audio Sponge (Takahashi/Hosono). His English fluency is excellent and he has a classic "radio host" voice; from my research he proposed the name "Snakeman" in reference to US radio personality Wolfman Jack. He can also be heard as the radio host for Tatsuro Yamashita's COME ALONG compilation album series - he even returned for the third COME ALONG released in April 2017.

John Bosworth Aug 23 2017 5:52 am This Katsuya Kobayashi is most well known, I think, for his fluency in spoken English when speaking about music or movies. Thought it interesting that there is no mention of this here....
