Notes

Filming took place from May 30 - October 24, 2020.
"Emergency Declaration" had its world premiere in the "Out of Competition" section of the 2021 Cannes Film Festival (July 6-17, 2021).
Movie was originally scheduled for release January, 2022, but its release date was postponed due to Covid-19.

It's a really great movie. Full of thrill and everyone's acting were superb. One of the best kmovie I've ever watched.

And Siwan was so creepy in this movie. His eyes and smile were scary.

I watched too many plane hijacking situations, but this is the first time I am encountering a different kind of threat. Whether you're a fan of some of the actors or totally unfamiliar with them, you'll surely be amazed at their performances in this movie! Totally recommend watching alone, with family, or with friends! 12/10!

ICYDK, Lee Byung Hun and Jeon Deo Yeon already worked on three different projects! Also Kim Nam Gil and Kim So Jin worked together for the drama Through the Darkness (another must-see project of KNG)!

Anyway, hope you enjoy watching!

Only u interpreted this movie was depicting in 90s... don't u notice the tape recordings for mice testing was labeled 2018?.. this means it is depicting after 2018... Next time, if u r not sure, don't simply shoot from yr idiotic mouth.

Sure the cinematography looks like scene in 90s for you, but thats your speculation only. The fact they able to upload to SNS isnt 90s at all if you asking me lol.

Second, did you even hear the line properly in the movie? I doubt so. They clearly said the other parties (int airports in this case) cant accept the emergency landing cause it's dangerous. I mean in any situation, of course every country has their right to decline such thing that they don't even have the detail about the terror at all. On top of that, its bio-terror too which is carry such a hugeee risk to spread to their countries.

Guess you are the one exaggerating in this case, cmon man don't just spread such groundless hate kind of opinions here. Get a life bruh...

Also, landed to others country are always possible when there are emergency !

A little exaggerated in some scene !

when I saw Im Si Wan play as a villain, I knew he would be so scary huh.

a film full of surprises. from start to finish really a lot of unexpected scenes and stories.

Mister Sep 12 2022 1:30 am I'll rate it 7.8/10 one of the triller disaster drama for me is still the flu. But watching those kfilms I realized this one thing

1. Child bait. They know how emotional audience are we, when we see a child away from parent. But this tactic is not work on me anymore.

2. Single mom/dad name the biggest: train to Busan and the flu why they always let protagonist as single parent? Seems like they have formula when doing these kind of film.

3. Selfish half-assed humans. But this is too heartwarming for me. Maybe because we are already in advance generation. That old geezer man we once hated in train to Busan is still the best irritating character I've ever seen.

4. IM SI WAN he's villain here, but he brings chaos and colors to my heart! Those cunning eyes, determined antagonist.

5. KIM NAM GIL he's still handsome as ever. He portrays well his character as Pilot and he's confrontation with Im siwan is just intense!

6. SONG KANG HO where's the father of all movies. Maybe they add too much great actor and actresses here including Jeon de Yeon but I don't see fire, grip on them.

7. Overall, it is still worth it to recommend.

I watched because 3 of my Favorite Actors, LBH, SKH and KNG were in it and checked every day on streaming site for English subs so I could see it. Not Disappointed! My only minor critique is that the English subbers don’t translate the English language sections and it was very hard to understand with the accents (no disrespect to Koreans who spoke English) but also hard to make out the ones who spoke over the radio. However, Everything else in this movie was Top Rate. My thanks to all actors, actresses and crew involved in the making of this. Can’t believe the stunts, and terrifyingly real disaster scenes! Hope NO one was really hurt in the making of this movie ?????
