Filming took place from May 30 - October 24, 2020.
"Emergency Declaration" had its world premiere in the "Out of Competition" section of the 2021 Cannes Film Festival (July 6-17, 2021).
Movie was originally scheduled for release January, 2022, but its release date was postponed due to Covid-19.

Sigh May 03 2022 10:56 am Honestly think it was a mistake to wait this long. I realize they wanted a good opening weekend which is difficult with covid. But at this point the hype is almost dead. Maybe they should just have released it on Netflix or something similar.
