Lee Ro-Woom (Chun Woo-Hee) is a genius like scam artist and has the gift of gab. She has made a fortune by committing fraud. She also doesn't have any empathy. Lee Ro-Woom becomes involved with Han Moo-Young (Kim Dong-Wook). Han Moo-Young works as a lawyer. He is the complete opposite of Lee Ro-Woom in terms of their personality. He has great empathy for other people and observant of their mental state. He is sometime too immersed with others. Even he looks at people who are hurt, he is stricken with physical abnormalities.

Kdrama Llama Feb 24 2026 3:29 am If you’re a fan of KDramas and enjoyed the Oceans 11 films then this is the show for you. It’s really entertaining and has a great ensemble casting all round but shout out to the FL and what is probably my favourite role I’ve seen Yoon Park in as the FLs probation officer.

A weird detail, but the thing that will probably stay with me the longest is the way the baddie tied his ties, he deserves the ending he got for crimes against fashion!

This drama has such a mix of good and bad, I find that I start to ignore reviews and watch for myself………………but I will say that those who torch the show with their prior prejudices of the actors should just not bother watching because it appears they cannot be objective about the story….just don’t watch the show and ruin for others.

I have already watched three episodes and fine it quite interesting, so I will continue.

Nik Oct 18 2025 6:00 pm non-boring drama, thrilling, they don't rush the plot in the last episodes and there's also a good end! I feel like repeating, but again: fantastic cast and characters! Besides the main cast, the supporting cast is top, too !

I was looking at some neagtive comments while writing. Every drama has some weak spots and weird characters where you might think "why?" or "why not do [that] instead" and of course, you could easily extend this drama to 50 episodes and add more cons and their preparations, but for me it was a great watch with no regrets and the weak spots are really not important at all here.

If you haven't watched it yet, you will not regret watching it now ^^

However, the main character is interesting played by Chun Wo-hee (I have to search her name here) who is also very good which I remember I have only seen in The Wailing and Han Gong Ju. I will defintely watch more of her productions.

But I never thought the unassuming Kim Dong Wook, the ordinary looking guy would do dominate the narrative, but he does. He’s surprisingly amazing. On episode 9 and can’t imagine the ending yet!

Ellen Sep 10 2025 9:23 am This is an intriguing drama, very well cast and acted. Yoon Park is always great but the FL did a good job with a difficult role. Kim Dong Wook is an uninteresting looking guy who somehow pulls off his roles, always acts the same. The plot is clever and unexpected twists keep you watching. Studying evil and the psychology behind it is difficult to understand but compelling and this series tackles it very well. There’s a reason for everything. K drama always has the childhood flashbacks and trauma but in this, it was necessary. Good job by everyone and congrats on using experienced and clever actors and director. Much better than getting K-pop idols who can sing and dance but not act.

She grew up having to wipe out all human emotions...that's why she talks and acts that way if you really watched the whole show. She has great facial expressions. Like another poster, glad they did not bring a love relationship into it. Would have ruined the whole thing. Poor Ringo. I can't believe he is still alive after all the beatings and knifings his poor body has taken. Na Sa too. Great character played by a really good actor. Kim Tae Hoon has been a favorite actor of mine for a long time. Now he always plays bad guys...sigh.

Also hard at times for what those young ones went through! Great plot! And great cast of very good actors and actress! Loved them all! For me and many friends who saw it and highly loved it and recommend it! I do the same! 5 Stars for every area of this series! Will be arch again!

Park Min May 01 2024 9:52 pm The drama fell short of its promising premise, stumbling through a maze of poorly executed plotlines and lackluster character development. It didn't take more than a few episodes, after the first couple of cases, to show its cracks, the narrative was disjointed, as if the writers couldn't decide which direction to take. Once the main case with Kyung Ja & Jay was brought to the front, the story went haywire. The drama failed to maintain a cohesive storyline after that. The main antagonists motivations were a total joke of a writing, let alone, the unhinged obsession of an adult over a little girl. While it's clear the creators aimed for a clever blend of mystery and drama, the execution fell flat, leaving more frustration than entertainment.

It wasn't exactly an amazing drama but the main characters were failing all their plans throughout the entire time that I wanted to know who the real villain is, hence, I had to finish it.

I'd honestly give this 5/10.

The romance between the main characters was so forced I could almost puke everytime they're together. The male lead was probably the stupidest character in the entire show. I had to pause the scenes where he gives shitty advice and talks about justice and law.

The only gripping thing about this drama is guessing who the hidden president is.

Only thing is I so want to just get rid of the Probation Officer Go Yo-Han who doesn't seem to know his boundary. He do things the way he wants and likes and not only he doesn't seem to know his boundary, he does not respect others boundary or personal space. Hoping Ro-Woom would do something to him big time so he is total out of the picture once and for all. Who is he to forced entry into Lawyer Han Moo-Young residence...even when Lawyer Han open the door since the nutcase Goo Yo-Han keeps pressing the door bell...but he should not bust into other's home and not only that he even try to look into the rooms open the fridge...this Probation Officer so need to be given a rude awakening soon. I was so hoping when Probation Officer Goo Yo-Han got into the cab, Lawyer Han would just open the back seat door pretend to get it but instead tell the cab driver to drive to the farthest police station and report harassement on the Probation Officer. Hoping he won't pop up too much hereon... Back to the dark side of Ro-Woom and semi bright side of Moo-Young

Love how the writer made right all the wrongs commited directly by the evil and crooked organisation and indirectly by an uncaring society. Having said that, I wish the pace was quicker and more exciting...could have finished in 12 episodes.

I don’t know, perhaps I was touched by the statements of the Psychiatrist and Lawyer Han. After a long fight, finally Ro Um and her team won. I’m very happy for them as if this happened in real life. Romance is missing but it’s fine. I love it no matter what and I’m gonna miss it. Thank you for giving us such amazing drama. Saranghae! ❤️

One actress whom I feel completely steals every scene she is in, which is not an easy feat, is Lee Tae-ran. What a great, captivating, actress Tae-ran is. The only thing I dislike is the fact this series is 16 episodes long. I feel that is a disservice to such a well written story and great cast.

Un modeste admirateur Jun 28 2023 6:48 pm «Delightfully Deceitful» is my favourite drama among the rare I’ve seen this year. Intelligently written, masterfully filmed, exquisitely acted. I love the contrast between two main characters, one being too empathetic, and the other lacking any empathy. Depending on the moment, as a human, I can recognize myself in both. Because the lawyer is too much of an idealist for his own good, it is beneficial that there is a crook to bring him back to earth. It creates a comic tension in an otherwise dark drama. Kim Dong-Wook is absolutely classy in the role of the lawyer: he reminds me of the award-winning actor Kim Myung-Min, who also excels in righteous roles.

Tuned in to the first episode and now I'm hooked. I love this series so far and Chun Woo Hee is such a great and beautiful actress, I find myself anxiously waiting for the next episode.

I dropped that drama coz it gave me nightmares. The male lead was a total psycho and his way of killing people was horrifying. I hope this drama will not end up like that. It also has experimented with kids by removing all their emotions. I'm loving the fl lead. Her first scene in ep 1 really had me, "Oh, I like her already, and I'm gonna love her more." Looking forward!

Yohan does give creepy vibes sometimes, it seems his goofy persona is a cover but i dont think he is a bad guy. This drama is actually quite good and deserves more love. Chun woo hee is so criminally beautiful and her acting is extremely good. All 3 leads and roums friends are doing perfect acting. Too bad people are sleeping on this show.

I think wasn't this thing the highlight point of the case that she gave away her aduloscent child for adoption? Or maybe i missed the detail you mentioned because i had thought she gave him up at 15 16, also when the female lead was blaming the mom before moo young i had thought she was doing it because of the same reason that she gave away a grown up child for adoption. Something about the case seems missing.
