Bae Min-Tae (Ha Jung-Woo) was a gang member, but he now makes a living as a construction worker. One day, he is informed that his younger brother Bae Seok-Tae has died and his brother's wife Moon-Young (Yoo Da-In) has disappeared. While searching for clues on his brother's death, Bae Min-Tae learns about a novelist named Kang Ho-Ryeong's (Kim Nam-Gil). The death of Bae Seok-Tae was predicted in Kang Ho-Ryeong's novel Nocturnal Trip. Amidst the confusing situation, Bae Min-Tae begins his anger-driven pursuit to uncover the truth of what happened the night his brother died.
