Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki Staff ©
Daigo Agawa (Yuya Yagira) is a police officer and he is dispatched to the small mountain village of Kuge. He moves there with his wife Yuki (Riho Yoshioka) and their daughter Mashiro (Kokone Shimizu). The villagers in Kuge welcome Daigo Agawa and his family. One day, Gin Goto’s (Mitsuko Baisho) body is found in the mountains by her family members, including Keisuke Goto (Show Kasamatsu). They insist that she was killed by a bear, but, after checking her dead body, Daigo Agawa doubts that possibility. Daigo Agawa doesn’t feel comfortable with the Goto family. He is also annoyed by the villagers who know everything about him and his family. While investigating Gin Goto’s death case, he realizes that the villagers, including the Goto family, are hiding something.
