Yoon-Jae (Kim Shi-Hoo) is a transfer student at his new high school. He begins to hang around with mysterious student Se-Joon (Choi Tae-Joon). They become involved in a case involving their junior student Eun-Young (Mun Ka-Young).

Ji Jan 23 2021 3:05 am This was a good movie. A lot of leason to learn from this but i would say this is the top 3. 1. Girls- be careful, your parents raised you to live well, respect that, do not trust easily trust anyone. Although, in the story, he was not really a bad guy, the situation change because of the series of event. 2. Boys (?) - can you be just honest for your self please. Situation got worst if you tend not to talk. No one can understand you without talking. The series of event could have been good if you were both honest. 3. And for your life situations, i get that but can we try to make this world a better place for everyone? It is true that not all of us has choices, but arent we the owner of our life as well? If you know it will ruin you more, why go for it? Lets react appropriately.

Im hoping for part 2. This show is 9.9/10 for me.

Hi Nov 26 2020 1:58 am I really loved the movie, I just didn't understand the ending, because I expected them to be together but they weren't, and I hope for a second part I really liked it?

Vishek May 18 2020 12:17 pm It's a realistic high school bromance tragedy and I give it 7/10. It barely touches on the crime and romance arcs, and it's very far fetched to say its a gay movie - it just looks like two guys who are good friends and sympathize with each other's situation. The plot is fairly good though I'd prefer for it to be bulked up. I think that this move would make for a good horror drama, maybe set in the future after school finished.

A new student at school needs some money, befriends a local student who works at a bar and gets a job at the bar. The bar happens to be a conduit for drugs and prostitution, and the newbie tries to work along. The new guy is more timid and somewhat worried about the ethics behind what he is doing, whereas the local student is described as having a harsh upbringing and nowhere to turn to.

SPOILER: I don't view the rape as being out of jealousy, but rather out of spontaneous lust triggered by the perfume, in tandem with being angry at YJ who gave her the perfume after that argument earlier on. SJ believed at the time that YJ was in love with the girl, so raping her was a way to get back at him, though I don't agree that the two guys were properly in love with each other, though you can make it like that using your imagination if you want to.

cyou Apr 22 2020 4:18 am Great movie. A little slow at first, but once the dark secret is revealed in the boys' work, it starts to get interesting. Yoon Jae is a teenager looking for a part-time job, with some good money to fund his mother's treatments at the hospital. This is where se joon came into the picture. He shows yoon jae interest for an unclear reason and puts him to work with him in questionable work. Among them there is an innocent girl (Eun-Young) who is in love with Se Joon who repeatedly rejects her, and yoon jae likes her. As the plot unfolds, the viewer discovers that Se Joon is actually in love with Yoon Jae - he is constantly interested in him and defends him, he non-stop calling him and becomes obsessed with him. He is so jealous of Eun-Young that he brutally rapes her and as a result is killed unintentionally. And still the annoying character in the movie is Yoon Jae. He is selfish, does not bother to share with his friend Se Joon with anything in his life,He claims to give himself over to the police but at the last minute regrets and lets Se Joon bear all the responsibility for himself and go to jail alone. Of course Se Joon doesn't give him out beacouse he is in love with him. In addition, throughout the film, I was annoyed that there was allways the feeling that Yoon Jae was constantly afraid of being caught, and not really understanding the gravity of the situation by helping criminals rape girls. 8/10.

Winter_cicada Apr 10 2020 8:29 pm Cutter is mainly a story about a complex relationship between 2 males and the female character that plays a role to abridge them. The story between the 2 men are incomplete as none of them confessed their feeling to the person they loved and it lead them to their ruin as it destroyed everything they knew for taking wrong actions falling under the control of momentary emotions. Not much is said about the protagoists character, his past isn't reabveled too much more than necessary and leads to their own imaginimation of the spectators. His character isn't too strong yet plays the ultimate role of reason behind the major happening in the movie. If more was said about the protagoists why he acted how he acted it would have a greater impact on audience's mind, I think.

(Spoiler alert: Several things have left a question mark to it that creates a confusion, like: How was the life of our protagonist before that he didn't hesitate before joining a group of illegal and more so such degree of immoral activity? What led him to change his previous school? Was it something similar to what happened to his next school? How he could literally leave everything behind after what he did or promised to confess and went on to start a new life on a different school? Did he actually loved that female classmate of his so little that he could easily forget about her? Or was it his male classmate?)

The ultimate goal of the story mainly depicts how women are vulnerable in the society for trusting wrong men without having any prior information about them and trying to lead a life what can be said to be so-called 'independent' like going to party, night clubbing, having fun with unknown persons which ultimately leads them to grave consequences. That is the only moral it has, in my opinion.

two plots. crime (Totally Happening and Inhumane / friendship (technically bl) ratings: 8/10 ♡ reason: drugs, rape, abusing power, seniority, things u do for love. it is confusing, but will leave you have unanswered thoughts. i liked this how raw the acting was portrayed by each character. it is true how ppl turn off humanity when they didn't get to receive like a reciprocal love. that happens. also this will raise awareness how males (with power) will take advantage of females. (dont yall shove me the "it was the victims fault" a crime does not happen if one did not initiate immorality) even u say one is a party goer, or a gold digger, or a rug. it is not an open invitation to pursue diabolic motives. we can have some party without troubling others lives.

i hope korea will clean their justice system and get rid of toxic superiority over meek peeps.

SPOILER AHEAD. yoon jae was so dense. se joon have that terrible aggression when he's angry he'd turn psychotic. it was se joon who approached yoon jae first, and paid only his full attention checking up on him. yoon jae did not understand well how se joon treated him.

this yoon jae has a crush on in yong, but cared not to admit it (for whatever reason, ig bc the girl was obsessed with se joon. and also bit embarrassed ig)

se jun was manipulative and convinced himself yoon jae would come open up with him instead, yoon jae did not then chose to tell about his fam to in young which was his crush.

that moment, se jun became frantic. he might be thinking yoon jae's attention woukd be diverted to in young. look what se jun did for the following scenarios, he made worst decisions, he became impulsive, he became jealous to the point he hurt in yong (but ended up killing her)

keeping silent to the linked crime se jun had, it showed how deeply he cared for yoon jae. se jun did not want to ruin yoon jae's image, ig in the end, he just wanted to know something. his ego's holding him back not until the last few seconds. FUCC cut out. so yeah i believe this is bl, too bad. se joon character is quite iredeemable.

Mell Jul 13 2017 3:18 pm It has a refreshing albeit macabre treatment on BL. Gripping build up to a somewhat numbing conclusion. Choi Tae Joon & Kim Shi Hoo nuisances in essaying their roles were equally beguiling, sympathetic, conflicting and redeeming. The film leaves one with a heavy feeling but with great anticipation on what roles the two lead actors will showcase next.

Was siting in the end thinking, If they had talked more, shared thoughts and troubles the ending would have been so different, If only..... ahhh well..... excelent acting, and as annie mentiones I also think there has been a mixup in the main male casting names. Tae joon= Se joon and shi hoo= Yoon yae
