Plot

Yeon-Doo (Baek Jin-Hee) is a single mother and raises her child alone. She meets a single man Tae-Kyung (Ahn Jae-Hyeon), who has chosen to become single. Tae-Kyung works as an OB-GYN. They agree to start a fake relationship.

Lynn May 18 2026 5:01 am The initial part for this show wasn’t nice as it was quite boring cos taekyung’s family dint like Yeondoo at first. Then it was so funny that yeondoo became the teacher of her husband’s grandma. & his siblings started to like yeondoo. But se jin & joon ha are so evil that they try to break yeondoo & Tae kyung up. & fortunately Tae kyung’s mom accepted yeondoo finally after trying to convince her many times. So, his family was right to still accept yeondoo despite knowing that her child is not taekyung’s even though they cldnt accept the truth at first. But joon ha’s sister, the nun suddenly appeared & she shld have said that joon ha was not her real bro even though she dint know they hated him so much as he’s trying to snatch yeondoo’s child away. So the nun is quite stupid to treat joon ha as her bro & taekyung was so stupid to actually let joon ha be with his child alone cos joon ha actually disappeared with the child. So ya, yeondoo’s younger bro & taekyung younger sis cld have also been together if his child’s mom dint appear. But I overall wld rate the show 7-8/10 & the ending was nice with yeondoo’s baby calling taekyung as dad & it ended with yeondoo & taekyung hugging & kissing each other & the show’s music is quite nice tbh.

AK Apr 25 2026 7:25 am I watched it right to the end, but overall it was quite a bit of a downer, as it just didn’t really lift my spirits, as it was a constant barrage of bad news. And that’s supposed to be a relationship between a couple who start to love each other? It felt more like a gathering of shy teenagers with no passion.

JK May 06 2025 6:33 pm I tried and tried to like this drama. I made it up to episode 7 but the poor acting, unlikable characters, terrible cheep looking set.... I just skipped over to episode 50 to see how it all ends and then stopped after 15 minutes. No chemistry with the main actors.

Norik Baboorian C Feb 28 2025 2:03 pm This was superbly binge worthy acted drama , bravo to all the cast , the director and the storyline , I’m also watching the cinderalla game ,very similar to this ,I became bored from it then I realized the reason was mainly the cast , is it the plastic surgery on their faces or they are just b level actors , specially the lead actors who act emotionless, just altogether boring actors,comparing to the real has come drama’s excellent cast .

Jojo Aug 25 2024 7:02 am I really hope that families are not as selfish and dumb in real life in Korea as they are in most Korean drama shows and especially in this one. The parents treat their children as if they are their property. Seriously they are adults and can do what the F they want with their life's. TY mother is just selfish, jealous and pathetic. Yes the lies weren't alright but all the pain and drama is only produced by the family themselves, because they all want to get their way and do not care about each other. It's really upsetting to me. The fights are just unnessacry and produced by selfishness of the parents. Also what's with the terrible house. It looks as if it was never finnished from the outside and what's with the two dead trees in front of it? Also from the inside it looks cheap and old fashioned for a rich family. The lighting makes every scene in the house look like a cheap sitcom production. But seriously why is this show so unnecessary long?

Whether it is the bad acting of the actress portraying the crazy ex's crazy mother who only knows how to screech and whine her lines, the implausible way characters interact with each other, the equally unbelievable conversations they have, the psychotic grandmother who has acted better in better productions, the overused trope of the poor, downtrodden FL just taking it when the rich antagonists bully, mistreat and even physically assault her, the cheap looking sets their homes are filmed in (including the supposed mansion), this series is just not great. And despite this I'm still watching.

Robert lee Sep 24 2023 11:04 pm Wow ! I enjoyed this kdrama a lot.For me, believe it or not, I agreed with Mike's comment. The most powerful scene was Se- jin' s father apologizing as he was having gert collapsed at the airport.I was watching this scence as I was having dinner after work. At the scene, my tears dropped downwithout any warning. Like of one the commentator said that I have feeling lots of scenes got cut out because of the time limitation on kbs - america. My feeling is as bad as Se-jin was she probably was very much neglected by her father. Her father very much caring for others. He has only so much emotional energy. By the time he got home he probably was very much spent. I would have like to one more episode for ending. Outstanding show, I enjoyed watching it.

Steffanie Sep 12 2023 4:05 pm Watched it from the time it was first uploaded on viki. I looked forward to every weekend when the next 2 episodes are up. My favorite character is grandma. I liked the entire story except for the part when GTG's mom suddenly threw tantrums. It was understandable due to the situation, but I think the writers have over done that part. She became a different character. There were some missing parts in the story. Just like when the psychic said Soo Jung will be a mom and both her husband and OYD's uncle will be the dad. Also, what happens to the mangnae couple? They never revealed their relationship nor have they decided to date for good. There is something sad in Ahn Jae Hyeon 's eyes during the entire drama. I hope he is OK in real life. He seems depressed even if his character was happy or laughing. He wasn't that way in his previous dramas. Other than that, good job to the whole TRHC! team. This was a very enjoyable drama and I am glad to have come across this.

I was excited because I loved Ahn Jae Hyun and Baek JinHee, and I knew I'd fall in love with them and I did.... I loved experiencing every ups and downs with them. I will love and remember everytime I've spent with them...Thankyou YeonDo, thankyou TaeKyeong, thankyou HaNeul and thankyou Gong+ Oh family, my heart has alot of love for you all.

p.s: Let's appreciate Headmaster Jang more, he's always been the brightest person in this drama.

p.p.s: Won and his dad were the cutest people in the whole 50 episodes.

Junhas part should have been over long back. They should have made story happy and pleasent. But till end it dragged, are ratings good?

Both Baek Jin-Hee and Ahn Jae-Hyeon are so bland it’s nauseating. He straight up just looks and acts like a zombie, and she is so boring to both see and hear talk, like she’s reading off a script directly without a thought. Maybe I’m just weird, but I just couldn’t with these two.

Its like very shocking because even before yeondo was married and was pregnant and when she became a mom junha would always barge into her room and try to drag her out with hin too, like if he wants his child go to court, you cant snatch but what is sick is that he tries to drag a wholeass woman who was his ex alongwith the kid and tries to force her to live with him, i mean is this possible in 2023 korea? And yeon do instead of getting restrain order starts running away from him. This is so crazy.

And now halmoeni is being so wrong, she knows what a scum junha is, also she knows yeon dos daughter is her lineage so she can stay happy with it.

Junhas character even now is doing things that are crazy even wheb drama has come to its end.

Junha is such a horrible character the way he is doing everything agaibst yeon do and baby just out of pure pride abd spite and not real love and care, he should be happy with visitation rights but nothing more.

Also how can you register a child like this, in this way i can walk into korean gov office and claim any child as mine and register it as mine. Make it make sense.

Shsss Aug 08 2023 5:16 am True the characters in this drama are so cruel and ironically all are moms who are cruel, yeon dos mom being cruel to her own daughter, grandma being cruel to tae kyung and his mom despite her tragedy, tae kyungs mom cruel to yeon do and yeon do cruel to jo ji myung when she rats her out to her mil.

I feel because tae kyungs mom is harsh on female lead of drama so many people are not seeing her in fair way because they see it more as her being bad to the female lead. If we see both yeon do and tae kyung played with her feelings by lying about a grandchild, this is a very big lie, for months wanting to see this child born and then for this to happen is very very cruel to any grandparent and add to it that all your happiness about your child being happily married was badly destroyed. Both yeon do and tae kyung are people of poor character who fooled others in such cruel way. None of yeon dos excuses can absolve her of her crime because when she knew marriage is fake she should NEVER have bonded with his family and gotten so close to them. Imagine behaving like biggest well wisher on planet and actually lying to that person. She was literally interfering in every lil family matgers of theirs.

Ideally his mom should have cut any and every tie with yeon do and distanced herself from her son too just keeping a minimal contact or told him I would forgive you as you are my only child but wont approve of your marriage with yeon do but you can go and marry her but that she wont keep any contact with his wife. Like she could let her son live as how he wants but not want anything to do to his wife yeon do. She has no right to force taekyung to leave her but she shouldnt also be forced to accept her as daughter in law and keep in touch with her.

But ofcourse his moms current behavior was deplorable and disgusting when she took yeon do to junha. What she decided to do ultimately move out of the house and live seperately was the best thing to do.

What ididnt like was that when she moved out yeon do still stalking her and harassing her at her place. No way she should have been forced to accept her and what also didnt feel right was his mom was also forced to take yeon dos child as her grandchild, like even if she approves his marriage to yeon do she can always do so without caring about the child as baby isn't related to her.

His mom was wronged and her feelings were disregarded, but she also was an immature character who handled things so badly. Her hurt is understandable, her not wanting yeon do as dil is understandable but that doesnt give her any right to force her son not to marry, she can always reduce her contact with him.

Of yeon dos mom she is so pathetic that nothing could save her.

She is getting incestuous and tae kyung must cut all ties with this psychopath. Granny's red lip color is so noticeable and cute. Also baek jin hee whats up with her dressing? Since she joined the school as teacher she has been literally dressing as a school girl even her shoes are what elementary girls wear, like whose idea was it to start dressing her as a school kid, in early 25 eps her clothes were fine but since she started school and till now her clothes are very kids like frocks, school shoes, at times they are literally kids fashion.

The track between both siblings dating is so disgusting and yuck as her brother was always against his sis having a baby, was always mistreating tae kyung, tortured his sis mentally and tae kyung upon learning truth and here he is having affair with same guy's sis whereas his own sister was suffering living in countryside.

Tae kyung's mom has come out to be very disgussting character but i think most disgusting people in the show are yeon do's family leaving out uncle. Its also disturbing how writers chose to show both tae kyung and yeon dos moms trying to seperate a mom from her child.

This must be the dumbest family ever written in a drama. Everyone is excruciatingly stupid that their problems would never stop because they are that stupid.

All the in-laws on both sides are dumb and I feel like the writer/s have written them as purely cannon fodder.

It's 37 episodes now, and we are still stuck with an issue that could've been resolved on the first 5 episodes.

The actors are okay. Even Ahn Jae Hyun is okay in here. It's good practice for him to improve his acting. But Jeezas, I don't know how the characters will be redeemed later on near the end.

No family values whatsoever and it's giving Korea a bad rep. They are big on making sure dramas don't give off the wrong impression to foreigners. Hell, they even went as far as having a fantasy horror drama cancelled because it mistakenly used Chinese props in one of its episodes but this one is seriously painting a bad picture of how families are supposedly operating in their country.

I love the character development of grandma. From 1 of the unlikable characters, she is now a favorite. Go Grandma!!!

Almost everyone had really good character developments. Soo Jung and Se Jin's mom's development were noticeable as well. The only ones who didn't develop at all are:

1. Yeon Doo - she remained dumb and immature throughout the drama. Can't hate her though because it's understandable she is that way since she was raised by her immature mother as well. Also, she undeniably has a good and loving heart. 2&3. Se Jin and Joon Ha - they are just both psychotic. They don't even know what they're fighting for anymore. 4. Lee In OK (Tae Kyung's mom) - She Wins As The Worst Character In This Drama! Boy she went from 1 of the most loveable characters to the most unreasonable, stupid, over dramatic characters in TV history! The end of episode 38 is just evil. How could a mother do that to a fellow mother??? 5. Kang Bong Nim (Yeon Doo's mom) - she remained mean to her family and unreasonable throughout the drama.

Despite the crazy and unreasonable events and character choices here, I still like this drama. The story being dragged on makes it even more realistic, especially the family dramas.

The cast did great here. I hope grandma finds strawberry soon. Though it will be great for the story and for almost everyone if Bong Nim is strawberry, that would be tragic for Dong Wook and Yoo Myung.

E Jul 31 2023 4:11 pm That Jerk Joon-Ha and the Witch Se-Jin belongs together because of their evil ways and wanting to get back at others for the choices they made, Joon-Ha did not want the baby and told Yeon-Doo to get rid of it and now he wants to be a father, I would not trust him as far as I can see him and that attitude all bad and threating people and the same goes for Se-Jin when she don't get her way she wants to go and tell on everyone, and Tae Kyung's mother has turned into a real witch also when she should know how Yeon-Doo feels even when Yeon-Doo told her the real reason why she did what she did.

One of my friends is also watching the show and she comes from a very conservative country, the mindsets she shares about her countrypeople are shocking and much more backward than korea, infact they make korea seem paradise, like she shared simplest things are looked down upon, similar filial attachments are shown, men bowing before their moms, mils mistreating dils etc etc and she was saying that even in her extremely backward country noone could treat a married couple or a man and a mother the way these two people's families did to tae kyung and yeon do and that even in his society parents can't beat grown up chidlren and that made me think that if more conservative societies aren't allowing this behavior why is korea or korean dramas even if it's a senseless weekend show?

I really wanna tell writers they aren't realizing but junha's constant harassment of yeon do, her piece of sh.it brother's constant agressive behavior towards tae kyung and sister, and then the way her mom and brother dragged her away snnatching the baby are very very traumatizing for veiwers specially the last one.

Also did people notice when her horrible mom discovers her pregnancy she beats her up despite pregnancy, then again when yeon do almost escapes a msicarriage and is supposed to be heavily pregnant at the time when she reveals her fake marriage and she needs extreme care her scumbag mom was again beating her up which can kill her baby? I mean how can dramas show something like this even if korea normalizes parental abuse but beating up a heavily pregnant woman who is your daughter, and noone criticized it or noticed it? Ihese weekend shows are mostlly watched by similar halmonis and psycho ahjummas, showing such things as beating pregnant woman is like giving them ideas., i wish yeon do had sued her for attempted murder of herself and her child, atleast take a stand for your child and had put that pos mom behind the bars for a good part of her life. I like kbs weekend dramas for having simple and basic sets and basic storylines but even for that this is too much. Please don't show beating up of a pregnant woman even if jokingly.

It's like the writer has totally lost any form of creativity so the conflicts are forced but even real life people who are stupid would see from a mile away.

The biggest idiot though is the female lead. She is incapable of making the right choices to save her life to think that she was supposed to be an up and coming star teacher.

It would have worked better if her character was made to be a special-needs person. At least then you won't be able to blame her for consciously making stupid choices.

She was jumping around to disclose truth about ji myung, she didn't think she can cause msicarriage or serious distress to her in pregnancy by diclosing stuff to taekyung's mom, tae kyung's mom was even worst she went ahead to threaten a pregnant woman of taking away her job, then many times jimying approaches her and his mom mistreats her not thinking she doesn't deserve this in her pregnancy, yeon do hears whole story about it from mil and sits as if nothing is wrong. Chairman gong was still much better and more humane than both his wife and yeon do, when he calls yeon do to office, he says he doesn't wanna say anything rude to pregnant woman and just tells her to leave, compare his consideration to not act harsh on a pregnant woman with what yeon do and her mil did to ji myung. On top of it he was even nice enough to give them time to share the truth which yeon do didn't deserve.

Then yeon do is so fragile that she can cause so much distress and frequent going between office and home to placate eommoni for jimyung but when she hears something harsh she faints and almost has a miscarriage. Then she tells junha you caused this near miscarriage, you made the post because of you chairman called me and she almost had a miscarriage.So when you hear rude stuff you get fragile and have miscarriages but when other pregger woman faces distress thanks to you she doesn't think she can have a miscarriage too or some serious situation. What a stupid woman.

Even now she wasn't telling her mil the truth but it was hilarious how she ran over to that place and kneeled and stuff when she was threatened it will be out now.

Tae kyung is the most spineless man in the show, so your wife's truth is out, your mom is after her,and this is what he says while crying, i love both,can't let go of both. Like grow up man and act like an adult, you are 35 plus something gynea with a career of his own and you always behave like a 8 yr old kid who needs his mom to hold his finger. His mom loves and cares for the girl, and his family has been accepting and started to treat her well too too. From their shoes, accepting a girl who ruined a big wedding was not easy. The second leads are not really the bad bitchs because they just take advantages of the foolish actions by the main leads, in other words it's the main leads who is digging their own grave. Are we supposed to root for these characters just because they are the leads?

No wonder rating is lower than Three Bold Siblings. This plot and lead characters are so hard to like more than that drama. Hope the next drama will be better with no absurd plot like this.

Korean Drama lover Jul 08 2023 9:52 am I love the show, but the reaction of the chairman character to his stepson Gong Tae-Gyung when Tae reveals the wedding was not real but he loves Yeon-Doo is so unbelievable and not in character.

The Chairman himself married a woman (Lee In-Ok) with a son because he loves her and accepts Tae fully as his own son. But the Chairman does not accept that his Stepson Loves a girl who is pregnant with an other guys baby and want to be with her and take care of her and the baby? Even though the chairman did the same thing?

He did not even ask Yeon-Doo about her true feelings and forces her too leave Tae. That is so cruel and hypocritical.

I always felt the chairman was the most sensible and open minded person of that weird family, but this part feels so misplaced to me. The reason he is doing this is because his wife would get upset????

I think his wife would direct him straight outside the property if she finds out what he did to a pregnant woman who her beloved sonTae loves!

Again that reaction of the Chairman feels terribly out of character. I think i missed the scene where the Chairman gets possessed by an evil spirit!

Acting is sooo bad- ML and FL are both cluseless and helpless no grit at all no growth. What a dysfunctional family, no values learned at all. Only fresh acting is with thr younger bro of ML and his kid plus of course dad of sejin.

Btw is it just me or did anyone else also notice baek jin hee, actress playing oh yeon do has really big eye bags, she isn't appearing in any other shows and she is pretty young too to have such eye bags, is the filming of this show very hectic? Ahn jae hyun and other cast members look very fresh, but baek jin hee looks exhausted, always been one of my fav actresses and she came onscreen after a long time, dunno why, but hopefully she is doing well in her real life and she appears in more dramas too, Netflix don't sleep on danashri.

Lets make it clear the wealth fakearse Aabuji holds is from his ex wife that is jimyung's mom so defo tae kyung, his mom and heck even greedy stupid granny don't have any right over that not even dad except for his pay. It is solely those 3 children's business. And here they are even ready to distribute it to Real who is a total outsider not even tae kyung'a.

Chairman is the most dumb person who doesn't see it is nowhere junha's business to be informing him of that yeon do post and if he is doing it with sejin there is something wrong.

It was very painful to watch ji myung go through so much misery in state of pregnancy and for what? Just to keep her rightful job with her. And on top of it her begging before an outsider woman who should have no say in jimyung's mom's business, like eff her and tell her go do whatever she wants and keep on holding to tour position.

I must say Chairmna gong is the worst character in this show, a disgusting misogynst, typical patriarchy driven mindset man who can't maintain justice and balance in his family life.

The scene where tae kyung's stupid mom was telling yeon do how she is blocking jimyung's career,how they can't lie to the family, yeon do starts looking around shamelessly knowing what she is hiding herself and then one would ask if you have this secret why did you out jimyung, then next moment she shamelessly puts past her the whole concern and smiles and starts to talking to mom in law about something else as if nothing is off in her life. I mean beech you are freaking lying about the grandchild and after making someone's life hell you are having fun and she is shown to have zero remorse for what she did to jimyung.

I wish junha and sejin do expose her arse soon and very well, that online post was a good step. Don't keep others secrets don't deserve your secrets to be protected.

Not only in this drama but actually in many dramas involving about family matter and workplace. The plot about single mom or single dad is quite updated in this current situation that it’s good to bring this up to support this group. Besides the abortion is shown as the choice for woman but also encouraging women to be the single mom just in case. The plot is not cliche and just entertaining if we actually get through it. It’s feeling good drama as well even there are the emotional scenes but also the additional of relaxing scenes to reduce the stress. Besides no any characters are totally the angel or the villain that it reflects the real persons which having two parts in one man. That’s why I keep watching this drama even it may go to 50 episodes.

She maintains her distance then she still forces herself on her, myung told her million times i dont want you to act concerned about me i have nothing to do to you but the woman still tries to jump on her, but then uptil this point it's one thing but regarding her marriage she is a grownup adult who could make her decisions and no ommoni or aboonim have any right to interfere but the fake mom again butts her head into her private matter thanks to the other rat daughter in law yeon fo snitching stuff to her when she has not disclosed her own deeds.

The old witch interferes and then what the hell was her business to break into her office and then threaten her to reisgn. Like who the hell are you to tell someone to resign from her job and what is even her logic to spout that nonsense. But god seeing someone ji mying doesn't acknowledge as a relation barging into her office and going to such an extreme as demanding her to resign or snitching to her father to get her fired was so shocking. Before ji myung should have slapped yeon do she needs to slap and kick out this mother. Also the so called ommoni and snitch yeon do didn't even feel the shame that they will be badly stressing out a pregnant woman. Gosh yeon do was always this self rightrous clown and never liked her but she has crossed all the limits now.

Imagine how damaging it would be for mother of a man who.is super happy expecting a grand child and it turns out someone else's baby compared to which jimyung's decision is nothing and here she is snitching on her.

All casts are into the characters. Why people are so concerned about the plot isn’t based on the real life. I think in real life, some families are worse or complicated than the drama. It’s the first drama by 50 episodes that I will watch till the end. Can’t wait to see baby Real and happy family at the end.

Firstly we did not need more than 16 episodes for this drama. 20 episode top would've been enough. Secondly, I'm at episode 26 and this girl don't even got one teenie tiny little bit of baby bump, like wtf?? Episode 1 I heard she was 6 weeks and shortly after that she was 8 weeks, now so many episodes later, don't you think she should've already been five months and counting?? We should've known the sex of the baby by now. I don't think they are portraying this story properly. It's a fun series i'll give them that but there's too many places to poke a hole in this story. It makes me smile at one point and then it makes me so mad. It's ridiculous but I'm surely gonna finish it.

However at ep 26 Yeon Doo has not even begun to physically show her pregnant status which started from Ep 1. Of course it's understandable if it's 26 days though !!

Nonetheless, this drama has turned into a cesspool of lies and deceit. I cannot even enjoy the so called 'romance' (totally lacking) between the leads in their 'fake' relationship (so childish!!!). Why then is the story being driven over so many episodes? I truly believe and live by the saying: 'the truth will set you free'. it is quite refreshing and liberating to clear the air.

It's a 'Real' shame to see this drama go the route as countless before it, with so much dishonesty, idiotic schemes and absurdities. Do relationships really need all those complications...one after another... continuously??

Makes me wonder at the kind of people who funnel these insanely illogical, over the top fiction. is this a reflection of the society? I think 12 -16 episodes would have sufficed Why prolong the nonsense? For the $$$$$$ ??? Geeezz man!!!!

Very rarely in between some really fun weekend drama comes. Real has come is actually million times better and much watered down compared to how much torturous many other weekend shows get this is the least angsty one i am seeing which is hilarious to say.

When every other kdrana shows men and women divorcing one another one could also say his mom can always kick away spineless husband and that.b.tch grandma and move out and he as a grown up son can support her but doesn't happen instead he goes fulltilt crazy in stopping mom from divorcing and even going as far as to marry rhat psycho to please grandma because it is called makjang the key poibt of weekend dramas.

It was easy for writers to show him backing away from wedding at last minute but then they do these crazy things like pregnant woman gatecrashing because they want shocking stuff in drama and more viewers.

So it's basically useless to complain about weekend or soap dramas because they are meant to be senseless, ridiculous. They thrive on negativity. Like the show father is strange was a fun show but it was very hard to accept that both male lead and female lead when fall in love they do while believing they arehalf siblings though that was a misunderstandingcaused by fl's dad, also female lead's dad was always portrated as innocent but he was not only a criminal but his further lies to male lead that he is his son ruins his own family but he was redeemed at the end.

Having said that it's really hard to stand sejin, she dumps him back in past because grandma kicks their family out but why did tae kyung deserve insults and it's really not clear why she wants to marry him not jun ha who also is rich.

Lets be honest here he could have walked away without the dramatic interruption of the pregnant lady. Also the main antagonist is everywhere, she steals phones, reads diaries, knows everything, happens to be there when the protagonist has an accident. She also says she want to take him back because of money and social status but he is treated like shit by his family. And again she was in a relationship with pregnant ladys boyfriend which seems also rich so why does she wanna marry the other guy? And if it turns out that its because she always loved him, why didnt she pursue him earlier and tell him her "Real" feelings? And wtf with the pregnant lady. who marries for 3 months? They lied to both families for then telling them what? Ah yeah the baby is hers but we fooled you because we are assholes. And again pregnant lady: she wants to live 2 months as a married couple and then leave? Whats the purpose of that? To have both of their hearts broken??? Also his family is evil but just because pregnant lady tells some truth they will turn good??? They were asses since ep.1 and now they wanna make us believe that pregnant lady changed them with her kind heart. Lol! It makes no sense all of this storyline, but i will watch since i have nothing else to do :p

I have patiently watched this show in the hope of the storyline improving.. so at episode 22 I honestly can't envisage some sort of harmony and pleasantlry between family members. You won't see the bump in the first trimester. Usually, the bump shows mid to end of the 2nd trimester (around the 5th month). For some rare cases you won't see the bump during the entire pregnancy at all.

Ben May 10 2023 11:35 pm To the writer: I believe the show is 9n the right track. However, for the main pregnant character stay at home all day and do nothing is a waist of it's potential. Why not make her get a job at a university as an associate professor teaching Korean literature. That would be a slap on the other wife's looking down on here and make some of them being jealous. It even may make the grandmother think twice about her to be little nicer but still have her doubts. I think it will also show that being pregnant does not mean being tied down and out of work. I think this makes the show more interest and you will be able to create more twists into it and possibly more funny.

You are banking so much on how viewers will get hooked by hating the characters so much but at this point, I don't think you can redeem them to keep us watching til the very end.

I am just not sure if I want to finish it. Cha Joo young or Jang Se jin in the drama is ambitious, pretentious and delusional. She is also one of the bad character in "the glory". Does she have any way liking to be a good person in any drama? She always play bad or villain. Well, she is effective or it suits her to the character.

Jaine May 07 2023 3:01 pm I like this cheesy soap. It is like a school play they way the find their spots to line up across each scene. The set design is so high school it is fun in its own way. I love thé son ( that has the pregnant wife) because he was awesome in Revolutionary Love a show that is so marvelous for how to make a future good for everyone that you want to rewatch it which I have. I love thé type cast mean old grandma showing a matriarchy that is relentless because my own mom had to have things her way. But this show pales in comparison to the deep intensity of where she plays the exact same character in Chocolate. I watched that show several times because of the way they handle ptsd, grieving and loss. Their set design looks real and not thrown together like this one. I like the ML here because I have known emotionally stunted doctors who really are more on the spectrum than not. He seems believable. I don’t get why he said no baby when he meant one twin was gone when he did the ultra sound. Made no sense to me. I love thé nièce! I just watched Missing:The other side 1and 2 (twice) and know that children could be more advanced in Korea than in the states where here they are instead taught “learned helplessness” so she is a delight! Lastly I love the former psychiatrist from It’s Okay. I have been waiting and watching for him to have a pensive role. That girl of his in this story that wants to defy his every thought should visit that psych clinic from It’s Okay and be properly diagnosed with her defiant disorder. Uff!! I wish he was in crossover stories because he was that hood!! Also I agree with another fan that added that that girl is so horrible you have no sympathy for her. Her mother is the same; (Money grabbing and selfish no matter). The writer really paints a good picture of why wealthy people are aloof because people can act like parasites. But then sometimes people can be heartless and cruel no matter if they are rich or poor.

From sleeping around to lying about being infertile to snooping in her exes house. There is nothing she can do to redeem herself except donate her nonexistent heart for an organ transplant. Janisha May 02 2023 11:09 am Love the drama, FL and ML. The ML character is trying to show his emotions for her by doing things he normally wouldn't do... touching, apologizing, protecting. While the story seems to focus for now on his emotional growth, the FL lead character has some coupling issues as well. She may know how to handle the grandma, but not the man who is saving face. I'm going to follow till the end.

I wish Dr. Gong would just lighten-up and make the relationship real, after all he started it, he’s so blind and dumb doesn’t even realize he cares for her. Can’t wait for the next episode 12, trouble is brewing!! Love Yeon-doo, she so cute and innocent poor girl, she could be the luckiest girl alive but life keeps hitting her. That Grandma has got to be the worst and meanest old lady. She plays her part well, that’s why I hate her along with Chief Jang and her Mother so so greedy!

SYR Apr 29 2023 5:53 pm Just gotta say that I’m enjoying this and it’s been good so far. I like the pacing. It doesn’t drag out the issues for multiple episodes like what other 50ep dramas would do. Also I really like the main leads and their dynamics. They may have started on the wrong foot with a misunderstanding but the misunderstanding is quickly resolved and now they are like supportive best friends even though they only just knew each other. Can’t wait to see the slow burn with them slowly falling for each other. Also the male lead’s mother is such a sweetheart and supportive so there’s not gonna be an evil mother-in-law nonsense here. We do have an annoying grandmother but the female lead knows how to stand her ground. So far so good! I hope it’ll continue to be great for the upcoming remaining eps. But we do have to prepare ourselves for frustrating moments since this is a 50 ep drama ?

And some no matter how great it is, are just a little too long to watch. This one has been pretty good so far, though I fast forwarded some scenes, because they were annoying, especially the young Ms. Jung, her mother and the dominating controlling Grandmother! In a way it’s also annoying that there’s always similar plots, lower or middle class families not good enough for the so called Elites! And the fact that an older woman/grandmother tries to manipulate and control others, being adults! That’s ridiculous! We respect our elders, but we are not controlled by them. Again I love KDramas!

A lot of the plot does not live up to reality. Why Oh Yeon-Doo would give herself over to joining that crazy family is beyond a joke! WHY when she is not even pregnant to Gong Tae-Kyung!!

The second most annoying thing about it is.... I am stuck with having to find out how this silly series will pan out! Goodness knows how they'll drag it out for umpteen episodes for the hapless audiences around the world. I just wish I could give up on it now ~ and save myself the pain.

Love is blinding and stupidifying, causing to give in to uncontrollable emotions resulting to chaos, confusion and it is quite true that the rational parts of the brain shut down when experiencing the feelings of love. The outcome of the FL's love for the unworthy 2nd ML is her unexpected pregnancy. It is good to know that she chose to do what is best for her unborn child, to let it grow inside her and to nurture it once it will be brought out into the world. It warms the heart to see that the ML charms his way out to step in when the FL reached a difficult situation wherein she was wrongly accused and confronted by the irresponsible father.

This drama showcases the relationship with family as the chain that binds could be implicated once a member commits something that the head of the family disagrees or implies especially instances that pertains to arranged marriage and pregnancy out of wedlock.

The second leads are depicted as the anti - heroes here with a negative character behind their beautiful and handsome faces. One would wish they could end up together as their negativity complements each other.

This drama is worth watching and it tackles an important issue which is single parenthood and unwanted pregnancy. Just a few episodes has been released but this is worth watching and is a feel good drama with morals on the side

I hope it continues being interesting so I don't drop it halfway like I did the woman in a veil. My blood started to boil right from the first episode of that drama and I dropped it after episode 2?. I commend the actors& actresses for the hard work and effort put into making the drama, I just don't like the plot.

It was just stupid which was not his fault at all not to mention that he had just come off that fiasco with that woman he had married. I am sure that while filming love with flaws that affected his acting greatly my point? Watch him in a drama that it’s not so silly. I really enjoyed him in. The beauty inside. And then there is my love from the star. I do agree he was terrible in love with flaws, but that was actually the exception to the rule in my mind.
