In order to protect her beloved family, Hong Tae-Ra (Lee Ji-Ah) must become the First Lady of Korea.

Hong Tae-Ra has a perfect life with her beloved husband Pyo Jae-Hyun (Lee Sang-Yoon) and their loverly daughter, except for one thing. Hong Tae-Ra has no recollection of her past. One day, she regains her memory and faces her harrowing past. Her perfect life is now broken and she finds herself in an uncontrollable situation. Hong Tae-Ra struggles to take revenge on those responsible for her past.

Pyo Jae-Hyun is married to Hong Tae-Ra. He is an extremely smart developer, who developed new technology in the neural smart patch field. He runs his company with gentle leadership skills and a sensible personality. He is admired by those around him. People in the political world begin to talk about him as the next presidential candidate.

Park Min May 01 2024 1:32 pm Where would you even begin with this crazy hot mess? The first 3-4 episodes were acceptable despite moving too fast and creating many gaps. However, as the drama unfolded, it became clear that it was biting off more than it could chew. Right off from episode 5, the drama became an irrecoverable mess. The pacing was erratic, jumping between weak fabricated plot twists, jarring narrative and bloated segments with no sense of cohesion. The drama was throwing everything at the viewers to see what sticks. Action, thriller, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, melodrama, the drama couldn't decide what it wanted to be nor it managed to mix any of them well. The characters felt like caricatures rather than fully developed individuals, and their motivations often seemed arbitrary, inconsistent and generally weak. If the drama wanted to go for stupid ridiculousness then why not raise the stakes to match? Not even the ending could measure up to its intent despite its "supposed" twist.

But honestly the female lead is so annoying, both her script and her facial expressions. Even her brother git me annoyed at some point . Over all the movie is worth my time because of the male lead.

leah Jun 07 2023 5:00 am The story plot of this drama is rather uninteresting and boring, especially the overly emphasized story line of Geumjo group and scenes with jang geum mo & kyeon miri that absolutely bored me to death. I found out that this drama was written by a new assistant writer which probably explains the weak script. Perhaps the writer could start off with something like a drama stage before writing a full 16-eps weekend drama that is absolutely a waste of the main cast's talent and time. The female lead and male lead's great acting along with their cute daughter was probably the only saving grace of the drama... ironically, the FL has too little screen time considering that she is the supposedly the protagonist of the drama.

Well May 06 2023 11:50 am It pisses me off how Haesoo is so selfish, like everyone has lost something/someone precious but she thinks the whole world owes her something because she lost her parents. She keeps making everything about her...she has to be the worst character for me, zero character development. How can someone like that be a mother. Taera was my best character but after 7 episodes, that changed...she became really stupid and lacked reasonable judgement. Why was she so obsessed with protecting Haesoo over the father of her child? Jaehyun was in love with her and would give anything to make her happy, she should have just lived a happy life with him. Everyone had skeletons in their cupboards, why take advantage of her husband's love for her and try to bring him down? You both could have just been Bonnie and Clyde, happy ever after...jeez Jaehyun was the bestest...you might not understand his motives sometimes but he was a character. I love how he had the charisma to fool people into trusting him...it's too bad he fell in love with the most stupid woman ever

Raymax Apr 26 2023 9:35 pm The last scene of ep: 14 reminded me of the finale of Penthouse Deason 2. Let Ji-ah as Shim Su Ryeon (Penthouse) and Tae-Ra (Pandora) all seen crying out loud after witnessing their loved ones "died" in an explosion.

Honestly, I think Pandora has too many parallel scenes that could be compared with Penthouse. Even its cast and production team are like 50% similar. Not sure it this Drama is a spinoff from Penthouse.

Nevertheless, Pandora is not totally full of makjang like Penthouse, where people can resurrect themselves from the dead. I can say Pandora is a much better and well thought drama than Penthouse (I know people don't agree with ne).

The hidden messages of Pandora can be very dark and it's relevant where populism is on the rise around the world. Hatch reminds me of the laboratories held by the Japanese and German army in WWIi...and the male lead seemed to be the likes of Adolf Hitler and Emperor Showa, Hirohito.

is it about romance? affair? aggressive? science? political? past traumas? each character seems to have his own business. I'm confused about what this is about.

I don't understand why they don't tell it more relaxed and calm? one by one not all at once. episode 1 alone has so many confusing past scenes and so many disgusting kissing scenes. huft sorry.

MR Mar 11 2023 8:02 pm It reminds me of The Conspiracy Theory, an organization was training assassins in a mental hospital and the individual was supposed to be dead also. So far the first episode has been pretty interesting and older sister is very suspicious. Somebody made sure that Tara and Haesoo became friends as part of the plot. If they hurt her daughter, then I feel sorry for them, because her memories are coming back of being a killing machine. Lee Ji-ah looks extremely young for age and I like the last couple of dramas she starred in.
