Bio
Born in Toyama prefecture in 1976, Masahide Ichii worked as a comedian, actor, office worker and screenwriter before becoming a film director. His debut feature film, Dog Days Dream (2005), won the Runner-up Prize and the Technical Achievement Award at the Pia Film Festival in 2006. Naked of Defenses (2007) won the Grand Prize, the Technical Achievement Award, and the GyaO Award at the Pia Film Festival in 2008.
