Ok Da-Jung (Lee Yo-Won) is the youngest team leader in the cosmetics industry. She has divorced three times so far. She doesn't care what others think about her and she also has quite a temper. Nam Jung-Gi (Yoon Sang-Hyun) works as a section chief at the same cosmetics company as Ok Da-Jung. Unlike her, Nam Jung-Gi has a timid and nice personality. He can't say anything that makes others uncomfortable. He is able to make Ok Da-Jung's blood boil.

Naz May 09 2021 6:16 am Refreshing! Nothing ever dragged on, no makjang bs, and some relevant corporate themes plus sincerity. Don't expect romance to be the primary focus, and ignore the comments about temper/yelling (not much of that at all). Seriously underrated drama. The comedy is a huge plus!

Pacoon Apr 30 2021 12:53 am I couldn't finish it. I leave the drama in episode 14. I can't take so much screaming, I only see mouths that open and close and a lot of screaming. I thought it was a romantic comedy but the only lover is a child.

Pacoon Apr 21 2021 2:15 am If you liked the movie Black Hawk Down, you will like this drama. The story is good, but some characters just scream. I have just finished watching episode 12 and it is very difficult to continue. First I have to see my psychologist to prescribe something for my nerves.

In one sentence: This is one of the best Kdramas I've watched.

Wonder why this drama did not get popular in 2016, or maybe it did and it just me who missed it.

At the first 15 minutes of the first episode, I wrongly judged that I would not watched this drama more than half episode. But I was wrong, after the first 30 minutes, it is very engaging.

This problems presented in this drama is nothing extravagant. They are so basics. But they covers basic questions that haunt people's mind everyday, especially those who work in corporate life.

Also, the casts are perfect.

Very recommended.

Arihant Nov 01 2017 8:52 am This is my latest crack-watching this on Netflix and have completed 6 eps.I found this show deeply insightful about real life problems faced by workers and the characters feel real.Lee yo Won is superb and the show rides on her strong character with the rest of the cast admiring/hating her in equal measures.

You will think about this show long after each episode -it is that good!

anemicrainbow Mar 03 2017 5:20 am Just finished this drama last night. Yay! What a nice story. I like that it wasn't the typical romantic-comedy between two people; in fact, the romance arc was rarely touched in the series (I won't spoil it for the others!).

YSH, though not the best actor, was an effective comedian here. We were always laughing at his facial expressions and how his exaggerations worked well in the scenes. I just wish that Nam Jung-gi had more redemption towards the end - like, some sort of improvement, since in the pilot episode it was implied that his character is a dilemma.

This was my first time to watch LYW, and she easily became my favorite after this drama. I'm just really drawn to female characters like Ok Da-jung (which Kdramas always label as 'witches'), so I was glad LYW was able to portray her very well.

I also commend the casting choices for this drama, I felt that every actor fit into their characters perfectly. Special mention to KSY who portrayed Deputy Han - I was touched by her plight as a working mom; and to SJH who played one of Ok Da-jung's ex-husbands, if he only had more exposure in the series I'm sure we will see more depth in Ji Yoon-ho's character.

This is a good drama; maybe not that great, but one of (if not the only) the most well-written series that I have watched (I'm not speaking for everybody). I didn't feel that the ending was rushed, and the story was paced just right, and it wasn't trying too hard with the love arcs. I would highly recommend! :-)

SPOILER If i had to split hairs, i would have liked to see Bong Gi end up with Emily not with Mi Ri (i prefer her with Hyun Woo)

I love it because it is not the typical drama that we always watch. Though we basically know what will happened next, i love it because the production team willingly to make this kind of drama that revolves around pride in work, a genre which is not that common in kdrama (i didnt say it doesnt have but not common).

I love all the casts especially when something happened and they need to make a surprise/happy/etc faces, all of them exaggerated a bit, that was a point for me!! Hahaha because everytime i watched them make those faces, i burst out :'D

Nice and light-hearted drama ^^, Thank youuuu all the crews!

Jules Apr 30 2016 9:42 pm The main plot is about working with pride and there is more valueable than money, similar with The Queen Of Office (remake from Japanese 'Haken No Hikanku'). Too bad, this drama airs in the wrong time. About Mi Ri's character, I think she has strong point with the story. She faces the difficulties as a contract worker and one of important role. I think Ms. Temper & Nam Jung-Gi is a breakthrough from mainstream romcom Kdrama. Every character in this drama is able to find their own goal eventually. Nam Jung Gi grown as mature and brave guy not only timid worker and father. The rest of it find they are changing into tight bond of friendship. And, I believe you are getting smarter after watching this drama, because you are not only seeing in the surface, but beyond of anything shown. But, if you only judge from face and performance, you need to think over to upgrade you mind pattern.

Almost together with DOTS, Goodbye Mr Black, Marriage Contract.... wow, was a long time ago that so many very good dramas were running in the same time. It is a pearl, really funny, enjoy almost every scene.

Each episode gets better and the actors do a great job peeling back the layers of their characters so the viewers get to see them progress from caricatures to people with depth. This is a cable drama and I'm happy to see the ratings climb steadily higher each week.

yowon Mar 26 2016 6:53 pm it is a sign that even they producers know the script and dialogue is a bit dry, when they use those funny visual and sound effects injudiciously in an attempt to liven things up.

yowon Mar 26 2016 6:47 pm first two episodes were great, and of course lee yowon is complete eye candy. but find the dialogue in third episode a bit static, and the characters are bit boring. lyw never breaks from the dry serious character and yoon snag hyun just apologizes for the full hour. the humour was good for a few minutes, but for full hour?? show us more about their interaction away from work, which they may do in the future as they did in the first two episodes, but mix it up in that one hour time slot.
