This supposed to be a comedy but director doesn't know how to make a good comedy kdrama.

Rish Jan 05 2024 12:20 pm The sound of your heart was my first ever Korean show and I loved it hard but first few scenes of forst episode of reboot made me turn it off right away. I was so hopeful but it failed. Will not be watching this for sure.

d33rama Jul 10 2023 9:39 pm Oof. This is cringe. These episodes pale in comparison to the OG Sound of Your Heart (arguably one of my top favorite shows). The comedy was so over-the-top and executed flawlessly by such a talented comedy cast that this run just had shoes too big to fill. Hard pass, I'd skip this.

Hae Jul 29 2022 10:54 am The season 1 was really funny, I laughed alot but this one was so disappointing :( before it was interesting how the main lead actor didn't have to be attractive (since it's almost never like that) but now it just felt like any "comedy" drama expect its not funny ?‍♀️ the comedy is just not funny i haven't even laughed one time when watching it and Aebong is not a good gf at all I don't even get why they made another season with a new cast

The main lead should be lee kwang soo again since he is such a funny guy without even trying hard. Ughhhh season 2 is such a bad one it’s a waste of time.

I dont know how the writers were inspired by these. I finished season 1 in one sitting. But took me 1 week to finally watch all reboot episodes. P.s. i love the cast, just not the film.

I was really laughing out loud especially the scene when Sunghoon was walking with paper clothes on him.. also his family & GF, good choice. Kudos. Hope to see more of Sunghoon projects????

To be honest i'm really loves kwang soo and support him in running man or any other programme (i'm his fan) . But to hate the new character isn't an appropriate way . We should accept the reality that the cast changed and give support to yuri and sung hoon . Just be positive and supportive . I have watched all the season , both seasons are great but i do love s2 as there are lots of seok and aebong moments compared to the first one . I can feel the chemistry between the main role . S1 also great as they have lks as the main role since he is a comedian .

Not letting him hang out cause he spends all the money on it. and all of the other stuff. Like jeez let him have his fun too you stupid character!!!! Just makes me so upset that he cant have his fun. But I can understand why many people are disappointed with this drama. When a series announces reboot, most people have realllly high expectations but c'mon !!! You cant expect it to be the same as the previous season.

Why do they need to change the whole cast and keep the same name? Just call it a different name if you have to make a reboot. Emery Dec 05 2018 11:00 am I'm fans of SOYH on Webtoon, I can said Kwon Yuri really fit Aebong character ! I love Jung So Min but Kwon Yuri give me same vibe as Aebongie. She's potrayed Aebong so great, and I feel more chemistry Aebong and Jo Seok right now than previous. Kwon Yuri's definitely not bad actrees.

Well , SungHoon's definitely not bad actor. But Lee Kwang Soo's Image really fit Jo Seok (Because Running Man and comedian) and give strong impression. But SERIOUSLY you can feel chemistry between Yuri and Sunghoon same like Aebong and Jo Seok on Webtoon if you read the comic.

I can't wait for baby Yoolbong!

Old Ae Bong is absolutely cuter than the new one. Another member in the family acting like they force to do it. Netflix need to consider about reboot the series again, or just canceled it.

I didn’t like the first episode because I wasn’t used to the people and the style. I thought I missed my favorite actor Kwang-Soo. He is funny. But when you watch the entire season 2, you will like it too. I’ve laughed a lot, and the cast is awesome. It’s more than just the life of the family, but there is so much behind. I would say: enjoy, and forget that there’s been a previous season. I liked it. And I would watch it a few times!

Unlike the casts from season 1 who were just naturaly funny even when they are not saying anything. Not to mention the original Aebong looks much cuter than this season 2 aebong.. i just miss the original cast as they were all perfect for the role... lee kwang soo really looks like a comic himself... whyyyy fix things thats not broken???!!!

The first season was just too good. The same cast was the only way the show can be salvaged going forward. Had to re watch an older episode to remind me how funny this show can be. No one can replace Lee Kwang Soo.

Beanie Jul 31 2018 9:39 pm honestly when i first heard about this i wasn’t rlly sure if sung hoon could fit the role bc i’m so used to seeing him as a super attractive romantic male lead, but after seeing him in i live alone, i knew he could pull this off. not only is he a great actor, he has the ability to look shabby. i’m not saying he is shabby at all. i’m saying he can, if he wants to, look like a loser. there are some handsome actors that just can’t pull off a loserlike, shabby feel. for example, jung haein and cha taejoon. sung hoon is just as handsome as them, but they can’t pull off the same vibe. in conclusion, while i think lee kwangsoo would have been a better fit, we shouldn’t underestimate sung hoons ability at all. he seems perfectly capable of portraying this character.

I'm looking forward to this drama coz i wondered how they're going to portray this, i mean this a comedy show but casting Sung Hoon and Yuri, it's like much more of a romantic drama than a comedy drama. It could be very different in this part coz the lead man is a good looking guy, hehe. Let's see if they're going to give us a different flavor in this drama. Exciting!
