Kim Bong-Seok, Jang Hui-Soo and Lee Gang-Hoon attend the same high school. They look like ordinary students, but they have special abilities that they inherited from their parents. Kim Bong-Seok has the ability to fly. Jang Hui-Soo has excellent athletic abilities and she is able to rapidly recover from injuries, like being shot or stabbed. Lee Gang-Hoon has uncanny power and speed.

These three students try to hide their special abilities from other people, while their parents struggle to protect them from being used by other people.

Hui so (Moving character) is the student who is being interview by the police in (light house) on why the school is destroyed. In (Moving), one of the flash back/past student of Teacher Choi, the student who can control time is the main character in "timing" and that character appears/cameo in light house

Jung Ah Jung May 30 2025 7:51 am I have watched the first 7 episodes. For me, this drama has been so good. It can be confusing sometimes, so don't hesitate to rewatch parts if necessary. It's very violent at times mixed with a lot of sympathy and compassion. I'm highly recommending this drama!!

Sora Nov 11 2024 3:22 pm One of the best dramas you will ever watch. Some episodes are very violent and gory, but this show is worth every minute you watch it. So good. The execution of this drama is top tier. Definitely recommend.

Also... it took me a while to figure out who that was going into Director Min's office with the security guard at the end of episode 20 and when it clicked... Omg whaaat?! I Have Questions! I Cannot believe they haven't made a second season!

Jenny Oct 24 2024 4:30 pm I have seen a lot of good words to describe how perfect this drama was, but I haven't seen anyone say something how the casting was done! If you look at them closely, you will see a resemblance from the gifted parents to the gifted kids, well except for Ganghoon, who doesn't look like his dad or mom. But Huisoo and Bongseok, look at them both closely and you'll see how Huisoo has a resemblance to her mom in ep 19 where she comforts the North Korean big guy. Then Bongseok, in a lot of his close-up scenes, you could see how he resembles his mom and dad (more) in the movie.

I love how the villains had their backstories, to show that not everything is black and white.

With that said, can we PLEASE get a second season? ??

Danniah Jun 22 2024 8:16 pm The first 3 eps were slow (or maybe not really interesting) but from the 4th till finish is enjoyable. This is not the typical superhuman drama. For me the drama is dark and sickening. It is how the elites exploit the (human) resources to the max, those who have blind faith and following their ideology blindly. But I love how they draw the humanity aspects of every superhuman. They just have some special superpower, but they are all human inside with all feelings and dreams. So sad how they being exploited by both countries and dumped when they have no use anymore. It would be good if all superhuman from both sides can work together to bring down the greedy military agencies.

Nicole May 27 2024 9:17 pm The first 3 eps were boring to me. But it is getting more interesting since ep 4. I watched the first 3 a while ago, then finished the rest within 1 day LOL. I just don't understand why among the 3 kids, Bongseok has the best parents in terms of their superpower, talents, brain, and looks, but he seems to only inherits their power and nothing else. He is not smart at all, which is very weird. Meanwhile, Huisoo, whose father is a bit "babo," seems pretty smart; and Ganghoon, whose father is an idiot, is the most brilliant. But in general, I like the characters and their relationships, like Doosik, Mihyun, and Juwon, Juwon and Jihee, Ganghoon's parents, Yongdeuk and Huisoo's family, and even the North Koreans (except for the bastard chief). Looks like we will get S2 as there are a lot of hints on ep 20.

hugsandcookies May 05 2024 4:51 pm I love this superhero kind of storyline, the parents sacrificing what they do for the protection of their children. Also, the backstory is necessary and the cast/characters just makes this series more worth watching. Bring on S2.

Eko May 03 2024 2:50 am Just finished episode 7, and I mainly kept watching because of the action, but this series has many flaws. Han Hyojoo is too young to be playing a teenager's mother. They made her put on glasses and maybe added some dark spots makeup but it doesn't work for me. She did well acting and speaking like an ajumma but she still looks too young so I can't take her part as a mum seriously. Like maybe add some prosthetic wrinkles or sprinkle some gray hair on her to make it a bit more believable. Also, her character's kind of a bad mum, not horrible, but not so good either. She doesn't talk to his son about his father then she yells at him that she doesn't want him to turn into his father. Like, how dare you say that without even telling your son anything about his dad? She held back his son's powers and some of his freedom. And what kind of stupid logic is trying to make your son obese to stop him from flying? It's his innate ability, he doesn't fly because he's lightweight, he flies because he can! so even if she forces him to gain more weight, he'll still fly. And i hate that she demands him to do what she tells him but doesn't explain anything, bad communication! just be honest with your child, sheesh!

Nevertheless, her son Bongseok is annoying for me. He plays his character like a childish "babo". He doesn't seem like a good romantic pair with Huisoo because the way he acts is too childish—he acts more like a gradeschooler with a big crush on a highschooler. I hate the aegyo culture where adults act like children to be cute and mainly to please adults who are most likely secret p3d0s, which is why I find his character very annoying. Everytime he waves like a child or smiles when he talks like a child, I'm so annoyed. I liked it when he was arguing with his mum because that was probably the only time he talked and acted his age.

Huisoo is great, my fave out of the 3. She's mature, she's not vain, she's fair, and she doesn't hit boys to be funny (i hate the kdrama trope where a girl beats up a guy and they pass it off as comedy) domestic violence is not funny, whoever does it. Her dad is my fave too like they're probably the best parent-child tandem.

Ganghoon is weird. I almost like his personality as a stoic, studious, defender of the weak, but his interaction with Huisoo and Bongseok is strange. Like, he only wants to get close with Huisoo because she's the only one he knows who has powers too? And what? Because she has powers, he thinks they should be a couple? Like, is he discriminating against average humans? He's popular but he doesn't interact with anyone, he only wants to get close to Huisoo, like why? superiority complex? I get Huisoo is very pretty but he acts like no one else deserves his attention. In any case, I hope his character improves from episode 8.

The bullies from Huisoo's old school and that bang ki-soo, my gad! Kdramas do know how to make them so vile and hateable. I know such horrible people exists in real life, because I watch SKorea true crime documentaries but in kdramas we get to see the bullying acted out and dam I want to see them tortured (not dead because death is too quick and easy).

Feb Lee Feb 06 2024 5:17 pm I think this Kdrama is a One Long Movie. The plot is not progressing. All of the narratives are headed towards the Climax. If you consider this a movie, you'll appreciate the way it was told more. Han Hyo Joo's charactertakes the cake but I think they ruined her character in the end. It's like her character peak is when she killed the woman at school. After that it's over for her. This is a great 20hour movie.

Honestly, those backstories were essential to develop the characters which made those emotions so much stronger and real between them! I felt every emotion with this show! The acting was insane and everyone did such a great job!!! 10000/10 Hoping for another season!

But there is one thing thati dont like, is that they make it like the anime Bleach, where in the highlight of a file, they insert a backstory... I know backstories in this kind of show is crucial, but please cant they just make a backstory that wouldnt take place in the middle of the main story... Its really frustrating.... Im already at ep18... And once again... Another backstory... WTF... its like a vert thrilling part of the main story and you just decide to add another back story... This is very frustraiting... Its like watching Bleach all over again. Although i do like Bleach but its the same thing, it frustrating to watch back stories in the middle of a fkng main story!!!

Nini Jan 17 2024 6:05 am I really wanted to like this but couldn't even get halfway through this drama and finally had to stop, I am shocked at myself for getting that far. I really liked the concept of the show and the idea of the super powers, it was very original. However, almost instantly you're hit with grotesque, graphic, and highly disturbing, and gorey murders, several lined up one after the next. The language, especially for a Disney+ drama is equivalent to Netflix translations and the F word is practically used every single conversation, multiple times, and it's honestly quite frustrating. To me, these two aspects are off putting and made me finally call it quits at ep 8. If you're sensitive to graphic, gorey scenes, with extremely dark storyline, and sick, inhumane, demonic characters, do not even attempt it, I regret even starting it and sticking through that long, in the hopes it will lighten up and the violence and bloodshed would dwindle down.

Chancellor 7 Dec 18 2023 5:58 pm Amazing show. I really didn’t want to watch because I usually don’t watch superhero shows that are not reality. But it really reminded me of American show Heroes (like other commenters have said) and even the show Stranger Things. But Moving is even better than these American series’. I like that Moving is about love, and friendship and loyalty, sadness and loneliness too - that makes the flying and the super strength more realistic. The love scenes are so good in this show & the quality of the special effects/superhero scenes are much better than some American superhero movies!

The music is also so good! It is very similar to Korean and Japanese 80’s music, like slow city pop. I love that type of music, makes you feel warm and peaceful and brings you good memories even though I wasn’t born in the 80’s!

Great show that exceeded my expectations!

Gadi Oct 16 2023 6:49 am It's like a heroe from american adaptation with kdrama taste like having drama and little romance. Still just ok to watch if you prefer a heroe like kdrama. I dont think they will expand the story for season 2 since it will become boring or repetitive just like the uncanny encounter. A spin off or new characters like the origins of these super human should be formed in season 2 to be more excited with new characters like a younger superhuman of origins. Adding Park Seo Jun Kim Woo Bin. Na In woo, Han So Hee , Kim so Hyun is also good in action from RWTMR also Jun Ji hyun .for villain Jun Jong Seo, Kim Ji Hoon would be interesting they are good in Ballerina. With new story and characters these will be more interesting to watch.

Gracie Oct 15 2023 6:13 am This was a really good drama. Although it's fiction, it demonstrates the reality of how people with abilities would be treated if they existed. The switching between timelines was a little confusing and it felt like too many people had the same power. I liked how it showed the pointlessness of the war and how super humans were fighting each other when they should be uniting to stop the government exploiting them. I hope the parents realise that sheltering the kids puts them in more danger and if there is a season 2, those kids should be trained properly because Elias is coming.

We are all used to the superhero genre where they have all these amazing powers and are so different from regular humans. But this show makes superheroes Feel human. They are regular humans who just happen to have special abilities but this doesn't make their lives easier. In the contrary.

If superpowers and superheroes were real, this is what it would be like. Of course they would be targeted and mistreated by governments. Used as guinea pigs, spies, criminals. The Superman and Batman of the world are great but, again if superpowers were a real thing, I think this is how they would manifest.

Love how this series, like the tv show Heroes or the movie Brightburn, tried making superpowers and super people more realistic.

I really hope we get a season 2. The after credit scene in the last episode gives me much hope!

Sadly, jo in sung only appears in some episode. But I also love ryo seung ryong, I hope he win many awards for his great performance. Han hyoo joo is superb too. Anddddd I love kim sung kyun so so much. He is really the best appa, not just for gang hoon, but also for jung hwan lol

The chief of intelligence bureau is a real political guy so really feel like killing him. In conclusion this is a Korean version of the X men as some powers are similar. Really creative! The Koreans!

Seamless effects and cinematography that enhanced the story. With the combination of all of these it made each scene interesting and there were no boring bits. Definitely the best from 2023.

My favorite character here is Lee Jae-Man! His limited intelligence does not limit what he can do to protect his son! It was so darn satisfying when he arrived at the school and he saw how severely injured Do-Hoon was, he felt so furious followed by his burst of anger which lead to hitting Chan-Il repeatedly until he looked half dead, same as when he attacked Jae-Seok (to the point of breaking his arm, that lead to him deciding on killing himself) and Yong-Deuk... lol!

I love the ending, so perfect!!!

Well after watched it I never felt like Im watching hye joo but Mihyun a lovely mother . Chae Tae Hyun is a great actor but honestly they could have use another actor for his highschool time its really wierd.

yoona Sep 25 2023 3:21 pm Oh my goodness! This is literally the best drama of 2023. The plot, characters, actors and villains are so good. Every actor fits their characters perfectly and their acting was legendary. The relationship between the children and their parents was perfect. And what makes Moving better than other shows is that they honestly show us who the real villain is. If there is a war, the soldiers on both sides are innocent and those who make them fight are guilty. Because they're fighting for their families or their loved ones and no one can blamed them.

And speaking of the ending, i'm sure there will be a second season but I'm not sure if it will have the same cast because their story is over. But it would be nice to see the same actors again because I would love to see Dongsik and Bongseok's father-son relationship. And i hope Jo Insung and Han Hyojoo will be partners in another drama.

And I want to end with Park Heesoon's quote because it sums up the show and even real life in the best way; "The people are innocent. Those who forced sacrifices are to blame."

Steve Sep 23 2023 4:14 pm Agree with the comments of KST below - this is the best drama I've seen in 2023. The acting is solid across the cast, and the story improves and coalesces as it progresses. Although it's 20 episodes, each episode is well paced and engaging. The story is violent and gory at times, but at its core it's a story about family and the need to protect the ones we love. That is, it's a superhero story but does not deviate completely from what most viewers love about K-dramas. One other thing that stands out in this drama is the quality of the set design - absolutely superb. Not surprisingly, Moving is reportedly the most expensive K-drama ever made. It had a total budget of over 60 billion Korean won. Move over Marvel.

This drama was a mixture of all supernatural, romance ,Action,Thriller,Family etc. The plot story line was really amazing. Weekly I saw the improving of the coherence if this drama. Really Han hyo joo, Zo in sung, Ryu seung ryung, Goo yong jung and others actors did a great job with their impressive acting. The actor who act as Beongseok was really cute and well acted. Really Moving is the best drama I watched in 2023. This drama is a masterpiece. Please do not miss this great piece of kdrama.This is so different from other kdramas. No regrets!!!

Also a missed opportunity to not have Juwon and Chan-Il have a rematch, but I understand that the writer was trying to match-up characters with similar abilities. I also liked that the show humanised the North Korean agents, but it inadvertently made them kinda weak and not menacing at all. The ending felt rushed as well, with the latter half of the finale wrapping up a few loose threads in a series of montage without much explanation. All in all, great show and I look forward to a sequel!

They're all amazing for acting, CGI, plotwist, script and the storyline was so good tho they rushed the ending but definitely there will be a season 2. Moving is the best kdrama of 2023. Fight Me Sep 23 2023 1:06 am I have no words. The production is successful and will have season 2. I will come back here when season 2 comes out. This is the only action K-drama that I like. I thought I’d never like this type of K-drama since I’d stuck with only romance, melo type of dramas. But this one, each ep delivered to the utmost perfection and never failed to amaze. Good job to the production team and cast. I hope they will bag all the major awards at the end of the year. Can’t wait to see the younger actors’ new projects. This was Lee Jung Ha’s first breakthrough role and he was so natural in it. Hwating!

Hopefully Jang Hui Soo will not do the similar action with her dad. Flashbacks really needed for us to understand why each character thinks or does what they do. So at the end, the true bad guys are actually the intelligence burreau leaders

Yes if you skip you still know the story, but the story will just feel shallow.

Thankfully no more flashbacks. Also yellow color filter which was used a lot in last 3 episodes was annoying. Some people had mentioned timestop thing but it didnt come out in this season. Anyone knows about it? There was too much gore in last 3 episodes. Also does hui soo's father regenerate eyes?

I cry when some of the "villain" died, especially when Lim Jae Seok died. He didn't have a chance to live like a proper human being. He spent all of his life in a hole like hell and then just died to help his friend. If only they have an ending like Kwon Yong-Deuk, I'll love the ending even more. But I know, that's just imposible.

Flashbacks should be not that long episode 18-20 is nice for those who are going to watch this drama skip 9 - 16 you won't miss a thing. you can understand what just happen for that episodes that you miss.

Those are like the confirmation that they will make Season 2.

This is a proof that she does not only depend on his looks to build her acting career. Other senior casts like Ryoo Seung-Ryong and Cha Tae Hyun shows their level of acting are excellent. Even when they talk nothing. Younger actors must still learn from them.

It's a must watch for literally everyone.

Although, the digression into the parents' backstories while well done, broke the narrative arc that had been established through the first five episodes. It felt like I was watching a separate drama. The most interesting part of the story surrounds the kids and how they start to rationalize their powers. The scenes with Bongseok and Huisoo capture what's best about this drama - the waning innocence of adolescence and the excitement of falling for someone.

Mae Sep 10 2023 12:21 am People hating on the flashback stories are the weird ones. This drama and its storyline sequences, not to mention the camera shots are Amazing. The way they focus on each backstory is done so well. Some may think it’s jumping around, but it is Not. It is establishing continuity and concurrency with each flashback and episodes. Everyone needs to remember that this is not a high school drama. It’s X-Men+Reply 1988+Our Blues all in one. Kudos to the writer and (most of all) the Director of Photography. Again, amazing shots!!

Sep 09 2023 12:45 pm i actually am not turned off by the immense amount of violence. its just cool to watch ig? the series consists of 20 episodes, with each running for about 40mins, theres bound to be multiple scenes with violence. what do you expect from a drama reloving around people with superpowers? a guy with superstrength and a guy that can regenerate? the producers are definitely interested in showing how far these characters can go and how powerful they really are compared to the normal human. also, the use of violence isnt necessarily just the producers being sadistic, i kinda saw it as the characters showing their raw emotions and frustrations.

this isnt 'Sky High' or 'We Can Be Heroes', its not targetted for children, its obviously for a more mature audience.

peekingduck Sep 09 2023 12:22 pm i binged watch all 15 episodes in one sitting, its just that good! the pacing of the storyline is good, the characters are well written and fabulously portrayed by the actors and actresses, the drama is just amazing (romance, comedy, action [what more could you ask for!]).

i thought the plot would be solely surrounding the children but going in depth of the parents was such a welcoming surprise! such loveable characters!

definitely a great change to the stereotypical kdrama you would find on netflix :)

How much you wanna cry Sep 07 2023 1:24 pm Nornally all dramas that do flashbacks always do them side by side for e.g Big bet or any other drama you pick. This is first ever show that did its viewers dirty. If they had to take a complete 7 episodes break from present timeline then they shouldnt have aired 7 eps on present timeline, at most air 1 episode and then go flashbacks, they basically baited the viewers, they showed a good chunk of 7 episodes to bring in viewers and then went into low quality endless past scenes.

Leaving out han hyo joo i love all senior actors and prefer them on younger cast, infact these names like jo in sung, ryu seong brought me to this show. Some people are saying we loved crying on past episodes, i mean how much you love crying? They have been making people cry for 7 episodes and showing extremely sad scenes. They practically had spent 1 whole episode showing han hyo joo sipping coffee.

They should have aired both flashback and present scenes side by side like all other shows so that drama hadnt lost that momentum.

Also the violence has been so insane and unnecessary, like till frank's part it was okay but it never stopped and went on senselessly. Yea we saw 1st time how juwon can heal once stabbed this way, but no, the writers want to show same stabbings, same things repeatedly again and again. We got to see him crushed under the car like 10 times and then cracking his joints and healing up.

And did noone notice what bungaeman did to catch frank causing major accidents for other cars, major traffic violations and property damage and he is again back on bus without any jail sentence.

The only one time violence was done well was bullying part and there too makers failed. Those ugly bully girls were criminals so show hee soo beating the crap out of them, those girls slashed her face, hit her head with a rock, the head bully cut her face but what she did after so much hype and hoople of a omg granddd fight? Just slapped them and let the. go but when it came to bully guy who wasnt even main bully here she hit his head with a baseball bat, is it because writers didnt want to show violence against female bullies? Who cares they are men or women, they are criminals, they should have shown hee soo slashing, hitting them with rock and bats just like those girls did. You are doing one scene which justifies violence atleast do it properly but it was left so unsatisfying. It made no sense for her to go so harsh on the boy but let real bully girls get away with mild hits.

I love all the casting, even how they make flashbacks and highlight each characters. I am so moved how the actors protrayed their role, its remarkably amazing.. It cuts through me their flashback stories. The flashbacks are the most and best highlight of the series ever. A you must watch drama!!!

Initially, I was very impressed by the writing and character development, although the first episode's violent scene was quite startling. I hoped that that was it. Unfortunately, the pervasive and extended violent scenes featured in every episode truly detract from the series as a whole. I have never seen such shocking, gory, revolting violence! The blood, the "creative" ways of maiming and killing each other, the sound effects are utterly repulsive and absolutely unnecessary! Whoever wrote and choreographed this stuff is either a psycho or a sadist, or both. While the acting and character development of this series is excellent, the violence is so heinous and graphic, I cannot recommend that anyone watch it. There is simply no reason for this level of violence. It isn't entertaining, at least, it shouldn't be.

First 7 episodes were good albeit draggy like most of the time we only see camera on students sitting sitting and sitting in classroom. There was no need for 2 episodes for mihyun dosik stuff and for juwons story , juwons story was the most painfully boring one and again got 2 episodes just because they casted a popular actor as juwon, like literally ep 9 10 was all about this guy calked monster going eveywhere getting stabbed , getting crushed under the cars, getting mauled and endless stabbings like literally for 1 hour they showed this nonsense and blood letting, then another next pair of episodes wasted on past for both couples then ep 14 again. Like at most give 1 episode to each character. Then color grading of past flashbsck episodes was boring and super depressing, like constantly seeing yellow color yellow color, unnecessary exaggerated violence, then what got me the most now:- all 3 backstories were super depressing like, like super depressing, for 1 couple okay people can watch but it gets too depressing for 2nd story then for ganghoon's parents, i got such horrible headache from ep 14 from all those sad scenes as it has been 7 episodes of seeing depressing sh.t and it is super depressing. It is as if writer has bdsm like fetish for writing depressing and super painful scenes and add to it the whole gloomy style color grading. I am taking a break from the show now, and will take some days before checking ep 15 and i am not watching the show till they jump back to present and just stop with prolonged draggy past episodes with unrealistic superpowers with pathetic cgis or endless boring overcooked love stories of parents.

So I guess many viewers don't enjoy the past tales shot in darker scenes.

I feel bad for the people missing gout on this show, it is a great loss for them. This is a 10/10 for me and it's not even finished yet!!! Definitely in my list of top 3 best kdramas Ever!!!!

Every episode got me at the edge of my seat wanting for more then realizing i caught up to the latest episode already. This is by far the best kdrama this year!!! Hands down to the star studded actors and directors of this series. I just know the quality and budget for this is so high and indeed it did not fail my expectations.

I think you can watch it starting from episode 10-11 (guryonpo’s backstory) then proceed to episode 8-9 (minhyun and doosik’s backstory) after that you’ll continue to episode 12-13 (how things change) then finally watch episodes 1 to 7. This is just my opinion maybe because I want to watch things in order especially when it’s ongoing you easily confuse or forget the little details while waiting for the next episode ???

I watched the series because of Go Yoon-jung, but I like more the story of Hui-soo parents, Juwon and Yi-hee (also I like the acting style of Kwak Sun-Young since Hospital Playlist), a monster with a tender heart. I´m sure it will be a twist plot with the story of Lee Gang Hoon, as his powers are the same than the North Korean super human. I have high hopes with the next episodes. don´t let me down writer Kang Pool.

Pacing is a little slower than most shows and feels like a western show

Storyline is decent but acting is suspect for several of the actors who seem to be awkwardly casted and there are a ton of characters

Director obviously focused more on specific important scenes rather than overall quality.

I can say I would recommend people watch it because the budget seems to have been very high and they casted some of the best actors in the business as well as having extremely high production value.

Its cinematography alone is incredible considering we’re getting some pretty high quality visuals every week; so production alone definitely deserves a daesang. Also; the cast is killing it. Ryu Seung-ryong is honestly the kind of actor I feel like I have to pay to see everytime I watch an episode. He just elevates everything. The emotional stakes seem greater just from his scenes alone. My only thing is I think there may be some slight over-indulgent sequences but if I was given a budget to play, then play I will lmaoo But In Sungs flying scenes *chefs kiss*. Worth every cent.

At first I think fly is a kind of suck ability, but after seeing Zo In Sung shooting from afar, dang the production team make it like a real deal, so cool.

All 4 were boring, the whole doo sik and mihyun story had moved at such slow pace, wrap it in 1 episode at most and end since they gave this couple 2 episodes they unnnecessarily gave 2 episodes to juwon as well, like episodes 10 and 11 were so lame, constant unnecessary gore, bloodshed, cutting stabbing which wasn't even needed etc etc.

Enough with background stories play the preseblnt timeline, after epiosde 7 it feels like a new different show has started. Really want jump to bong seok and ganghoon parts.

If they wanted to make it look like a movie I believe they should just put it in 2 episodes one for lee mihyun backstory and one for jang junwon backstory instead of dragging it into 4 episodes. It is just too slow and I actually skip a lot of scene since it gets really boring from times to times. Literally watch for 10 minutes, skips and repeat.

Just from the posters alone perfectly show that this show was never about Bongseok & Huisu only. Not to mention the actors for the older generation is way more veteran and 'heavy weight' compared to the youngsters. Don't get me wrong tho, I love Go Yunjeong so much as Naksu. She's just adorable af.

Firstly we don't "hear" only through ears but our brain has to identify what exactly we are hearing. When we say that someone has absolute pitch we don't mean really that he can just hear high tones but that he can identify them. Shooting is extremely loud and it isn't hard to identify for our mind if someone knows this sound well(of course it is still 5th floor and definitely muted room but it is superpower lol).

But to know what someone is saying you have to not only hear conversation but as well focus on it (listen). That's how it is in real life as well. I think most people experience such situation: you are in public place f.e. café and many people talk simultaneously between themselves. You mind your own business and drink coffee. So you theoretically hear what they are talking but you don't really listen them. But suddenly your name come up in someone's conversation. I love that the emphasis is not so much on the powers they have but more on character development and relationship dynamics. I have just have had my fill of the big-budget, bombastic, CGI-filled Marvel movies-- this feels more organic and relatable.

I just cringe a bit on the violence shown but I think the action scenes are well-made and fast-paced. The acting is superb especially from Han Hyun Joo and Lee Jungha. The bond between this mother-child relationship is palpable---even if the age difference makes the relationship improbable, their acting pulls it off. The chemistry as well between HyunJoo and Zo Insung is insane--even without torrid love scenes, the longing between the two jumps out of the screen.

I understand why this series was named Moving---because it is emotionally moving.

This is what gyeongsang dialect is seen as in korea, "The Gyeongsang-do dialect is fast-paced, and with a strong accent. Many people think this dialect often sounds like fighting."

So basically phone guy wasnt a thug but he was a wannabe, he wanted to sound badass like other real thugs so he got tatoos and would fake a strong accent but chickenman was able to see through the fake accent and put him in his place and the guy got scared of him, i am not sure but it felt like.chicken man was also using a strong accent which had intimidated the wannabe thug.

@Inmo agree with every word of what you wrote, the hearing ability whether its in voice or any show sounds so flawed and ridiculous that it becomea hard to take it seriously, given here mihyun woukd be hearing gunshots from basement floor sitting on 5th floor but cant hear what her boss and assistant were talking about her standing right outisde their room wall.

The story and actors are all superb, just Imo this director don't really know how to show the way superpower works. The way it shows the superhuman abilities are somewhat awkward, except the easiest and obvious Flight & Super Regeneration. But for ones like X-ray vision, super strength, especially enhanced five senses it just look terrible and makes the show look cheap. Or maybe he really does pressed in budget due to casting those expensive movie actors lol.

First, JJW realised the tattooed guy was lying about his roots, that could mean he was hiding from somebody, maybe something illegal was going on. Second, JJW had shot scars and changed his attitude towards him. He had learnt his secret plus had experience dealing with violent situations. Okay Aug 17 2023 7:15 pm Ep 8 and 9 content could have been wrapped in 1 episode alone, after seeing 8 and 9 it seems now every character will have episodes on backstory, so will next 2 episodes be on the backstory of hui soo's father and then there will be flashbacks from their past projects, infact doo sik story hasn't been over yet, firstly 7 episoded were spent literally on showing school kids just sitting, sitting in thr classroom, or hui soo running around, lot of tine was wasted from progressing the story, it feels unfair to cha tae hyun who was given 20 minutes to his backstory and others are gettibg 3,4 episodes.

This show has 20 episodes, going at this rate it seems it wont be wrapped up in 1 season and 2nd season should be expected.

Dont get me wrong, i really like the show but pacing is awfully slow. I was so excited for ep 8 and 9 to show story progress in current timeline but insead 2 episodes went back into past.

Drama is very interesting i wish they improve pacing.

Last i didnt understand why did the ansp director started blaming doo sik for the nk leader mission, like he finished the mission now why are they after him, either it was poorly explained or translated. And who were the people, they werr from which organization the ones director and secrtary were arguing with?

It has a star talented cast and the story is so cool! Jo In Sung still handsome LOL his awkward character interactions with Han Hyo Joo are so cute. Han Hyo Joo is a great actress I forgot that the age gap between her and the actor playing the son is so small. I can't describe the feels this drama gives me. Moving is a human story about normal people who can do superhuman things. The writing and pace is good. So much has happened but there are 10 episodes to go. Congrats to the cast and staff I think this drama is going to win a lot of awards.

Waiting for HuiSoo to improve her acting since she is with HyoJoo in this one. so far 8/10, and Frank was such a painful character. He is basically the summary of the global military system, sad but true.

Who Aug 14 2023 5:29 pm I dunno why people are tryong to make this whole show about ko young joon when i find acting wise she is the weakest link of all, like the scene where she beatup bullies her face was as expresionless as if she was buying candies at a store, literally didnt feel any thrill or intensity or anguish from her face, when she gets up to hit the guy with brick or bat her face had no anger she was just panting and it felt so bland. She isn't bad but not intense for the role, look at lee gang hoon guy is so intense, bong seok is also good in expressing goofiness.

For me frank and chicken restaurant owner actor so far have stood out the most as performers.

For 7 episodes drop pacing was slow, i hope now drama picks uo pace from 8 onwards. Its a good show and shows disney can produce better shows if they try, though there is room for improvements.

My biggest gripe was about hui soo fight scene ending, she hits bully guy with a bat but lets go of that bully b.tch, i wish she had hit her with the bat and bricks too.

It was a bit surprising is it possible to carry knives and attack others like this in korean school? It felt like a ghetto school from mexico or south america or usa, the ones in high crime areas where common people avoid even in the daytime.

If you are fan of supernatural, you will just love the plot and behind stories of the characters. So far (I completed 6 episodes) I really enjoy every moment and can't wait for the upcoming episodes. Also, the cast is amazing. Actors and actresses are so good. I really like everything about it and can't wait to finally see Zo In-Sung in a drama. Han Hyo-joo is amazing as always. He just nails all of her characters, he is truly a talent. I admire her.

So agree prefer other guy's character more the one who is president. Hopefully bongseoks role will improve.

Jeong ha looks like chae hyong seop, i initially checked his profile thinking he is chae hyun seop and was surprised to see that he was actually in the same drama nevertheless as him, their resemblance seems strong and the fact they apepared in a same show is sort of surprising..

So far in released episodes actors who have been given sceentime are as such, go yoon jung and jeong ha have the biggest screentime so far, then comes frank who albeit a villain was very nice, after frank han hyo ju and school teacher get time, then lee gang hoon, it was disappointing that kim sung kyun so far barely appeared on screen will he have a role? , even cha tae hyun wasn't given lot of time, didn't like how he acted recklessly running the bus on the road where he hurt the civilians badly, lead characters have to do positive things to be likeable.

All in all finally disneyplus improved their drama quality. Shadow detective was good but could have been better, Moving is finally a show at par with netflix shows.

Disney plus now should do a korean show like alice in borderland.
