A medical thriller that revolves around genius doctor Shin Ju-Shin (Jung E-Chan) and a woman named Mo-Mo (Baek Seo-Ra). Shin Ju-Shin challenges the realm of the divine and Mo-Mo's brain suddenly fails and she loses her soul.

sf May 03 2026 1:08 pm Although I would have preferred another flow of events in the last episode (and I am referring especially to Kim Gwang-Cheol actions), I have to accept the writer's line. The last sequence of the last episode was precious. Even if the first episodes seem, and they really are, tangled, giving headaches to the watcher, these drama episodes were the only ones from the ongoing dramas which I eagerly expected. I loved this drama, but it required some patience for the watcher.

But the series got excited and can't wait for the next episodes to come.... what's happening in Finale ? Ratings should be much higher.... the male actors are doing well in Doctor Shin.. especially Ha Yong-joong looked so attractive .....

AMAN Apr 21 2026 7:05 pm No wonder this drama has the lowest ratings..literally in every department this drama is so bad..! Story, Acting, Screenplay, Editing everything seems messy. Story is very confusing. they just randomly & so often switch between past & present scenes that after one point you just can't figure out which timeline you're watching. another problem is that you will feel many scenes, specially the ones where main leads are having conversation, unnecessary stretched out so lengthy & boring that you just loose interest in their conversation, they just talking talking talking & keep on talking (in one episode there is literally a 14min long conversation scene between two leads & btw one episode length is 1hr) everyone's acting is very Bad, it's like some kind of competition that who will act bad.. i don't know when was the last time i saw a kdrama this bad...

Kelly Apr 20 2026 1:36 pm I also just observed its the same writer, no wonder it's similar to Love ft. Marriage & Divorce Season 3 especially with respect to the lines of their conversations... that's why I could easily relate both dramas without even knowing who the writer was at first.

Hoping for a happy ending though...

Kelly Apr 20 2026 1:28 pm It's kinda interesting... can't wait for the remaining episodes. The plot at first seems twisted but if you give it a bit you'll have a grasp of it. The plot is different from the conventional drama we watch. Actors a doing great too. I started anticipating it when focus was shifted from Dr Shin & Momo to Dr Shin & Geum Ba-Ra, I would love a romance to blossom between them I like the lines of their conversations; it reminds me of Dong-Ma & Sa Pi-Young in Love ft. Marriage & Divorce 3. Just realised that 3 of the actors are also casted here.

Jjoo Apr 09 2026 5:06 am After 15 years of watching K-dramas, I can tell if a drama is watchable even before watching it, though I hate doing so. But this time I was right. My mom told me that she started watching this drama so I searched for it only to find that non of the leads is a known actor. I could only recognize 2 of the extrras. That's why I urged my mom to not waste her time because dramas of unknown actors have a 99% of being trashy in some aspect. Like if the story is somehow good, the acting is terrible. If the story and acting are ok, the directing will be trashy, or maybe later on they will introduce the most stupid plot twist ever. And seeing all these comments, it seems like I was right.

K kay Apr 02 2026 5:06 pm I got confused at some point with the back story. I enjoy watching the romance between the 2nd leads... so far, it feels more like they are the leads. I was wondering were I saw Ha Yong-Joong and recalled he was casted in Idols I, he looks so attractive in this kdrama and his acting is good; he definitely pass for a male lead.

NotInterested Apr 02 2026 12:38 am Timeline of the story is very bad the back story is mix up with the present story so you cant derermine the time of the event. When the Title is Dr. Shin doesn't even focusing to the main lead. This gives an old style classic kdrama that airs an 100 episodes.

Ika Mar 30 2026 1:41 am I'm actually confused with this drama, because it doesn't focus on the main characters' romance. It only tends to focus on the romance between Ba Ra and Yong-Joong. The main character only focuses more on his medical skills and greed to find a suitable brain transplant for his lover's body. It's really confusing. But I enjoy Ba Ra's unrequited love romance more than the main characters...

Flat Acting Mar 29 2026 8:06 pm The acting of Geum Ba-Ra is quite flat, while Mo-mo and Jin Ju really do a great job. I hope Geum Ba-Ra practices more, because her performance lacks emotion. The story actually gets better after episodes 3–4. You’ll understand it more once you’ve finished four episodes. The rest of the actors are good, but I know she’ll improve over time.
