Goro Inogashira (Yutaka Matsushige) runs his own imported goods business and travels all over Japan for work. During his trips, he loves to try different restaurants by himself. Now, Goro Inogashira travels abroad and tries to find the ultimate soup.

soom Apr 25 2026 1:26 pm discovered the original series on TY online early 2000.s Like a breath of fresh air, and my intro to Japanese TV series. Have not gone back to US TV since 2009, why even bother? SG is Such great simple and clear production, no fuss, no bother, just insight into slice of life eating "on the road"--which can be such a grab bag. I love how he sniffs out the hole in the wall spots in Japan. Not sure what this will be like--but Let's Go-o-o-o
