Yoo Man-Soo (Lee Byung-Hun) is married to Mi-Ri (Son Ye-Jin) and they have two children. They own their home that they bought with difficulty. Yoo Man-Soo has been working at a paper company for 25 years. He feels comfortable and satisfied with his life, but he is suddenly fired from his job. He struggles to find a new job to protect his family and his house.

Jillibean Jan 01 2026 2:18 pm I finally got to see the film. It is excellent, lovely acting, cinematography, and music. It is poetically sad as the story unfolds. Ye Jin Son is my favorite actress for over two decades since Delicious Proposal (2001) and The Classic (2003) so I will watch anything she is in, and of course Lee Byung Hun is perfect in his role here, as he is in everything I have watched him in beginning with Dream Racers in 1995! Congrats on the Oscar nomination!

What a waste Dec 19 2025 1:10 pm Sure, it does keep your curiosity piqued. That is all it is to it. The unfolding of the story is uneventful without an iota of surprise but just like 'is this it?' I am sure there are other directors and actresses who portrayed more meaningful characters and presented movies than this. Definitely not an award winning movie or performance. Not saying the actors didnt perform well, but its just a meh and watch it if you did not have anything better to do.
