Joon-Hyeok (Oh Jung-Se) is an unpopular musician. He's like a loser and his life has hit rock bottom. He has broken off his relationship with his older sister Joon-Hee (Jeon Hye-Jin). One day, Joon-Hee’s son appears in front of him. His nephew became OCD after Joon-Hee divorced. Joon-Hyeok begins to live with his nephew and takes care of him.

Meanwhile. Joon-Hee divorced her husband after 12 years of marriage. Her ex-husband was physically abusive to her. She moves into a cheap rented apartment and must deal with her ex-husband and his mother, as they try to take custody of her son.

Hey-Ryeong (Park Sun-Young) is a resident of the expensive apartment complex Royal State. She is the president of the mothers' community at the apartment complex and is admired by the other mom members. Kyeong-Il (Lee Sang-Woo) is a resident at Royal State. He has a sweet and warm personality. After his wife died, he has raised his daughter alone. Yoo-Ra (Hwang Woo Seul Hye) is a member of the mothers’ community and admires Hey-Ryeong.

Drama series is a remake of the UK television series "Uncle" that aired on Channel 4 in 2012 and BBC One from 2014 to 2017.

You may think this is about an uncle and his nephew, although that's partially true, but the biggest focus was on the mothers’ committee and everything surrounding it. The drama quickly turned into another boring high-class circle jerk lacking any creativity or nuances. The uncle nephew relationship was always a side story progressing in the background. The last 2 episodes were utterly useless, the drama ended by episode 14 and the remainder were all random made-up last-minute events. The writer blatantly gave up. The drama is still watchable just for the sake of a handful good scenes otherwise it's underwhelming for its genre.

The actors are doing what the producer is telling them to do, so to me they are outstanding . This is the way the drama is written and they are following what they are told,  Great job!!!!

of course, there is evil grandma, but really the mother wanted to marry into money causing all this - people dont change over night and become evil, she must have overlooked their evilness before marrying into money - what dumb woman - to put politely. as a result of her greed, their lives become what they are.

Xxx Jan 20 2022 11:22 am This drama got me laughing so much and sometimes made me cry. I will recommend it to anyone looking for a good Kdrama film to watch.

It's about child abuse, failed marriages, misconception, bad parenting, determination, and family.

It's really worth watching. Ji Hoo and his uncle Jon Hyuk were so funny. Ji Hoo was an asthmatic who was traumatized by his dad and grandmother through physical abuse.

Honestly, you should watch it.

The momliv club members were another hilarious headache, always plotting evil
