Over a 7 day period, "The Days" depicts three different viewpoints from people involved with the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant when it experienced an extreme crisis caused by the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. The viewpoints are from government officials, Tokyo Electric Power Company employees, and employees at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant.
Notes
- Filming began June, 2021 and finished October, 2021.
- Koji Yakusho's character is based on real person Masao Yoshida. He worked as a plant manager at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in 2011 when the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami struck Japan.
