Akane Saijo (Yu Miyazaki) is a university student and plays the drums in a band. Suddenly, she gets unfairly kicked out of the band. Genius musician Naoki Fujitani (Takeru Satoh) becomes aware of Akane Saijo and asks her to join his new band TENBLANK. The band members in his band includes guitarist Sho Takaoka (Keita Machida) and pianist Kazushi Sakamoto (Jun Shison). Meanwhile, there is a rival band that vocalist Toya Shinzaki (Masaki Suda) belongs to.

Do not compare doramas with Kdramas. Japanese art has not let occidental culturalization in as Korean has, that is why most people do not get it and can not appreciate it.

But the production quality is on par with K drama. The story is not bad. But the music? K-on is a lot better!

The story was amazingly told, the songs were top tier. The acting and emotions portrayed were so real that they had me in tears. I want all the songs in this drama, wonderful music. ?

Mai Aug 07 2025 8:56 am Compare to other music themed doramas this is pretty lame. The thing that should be taken seriously is the music. Other than that just feels flat. Like you don't really understand what's this is about, love story or a band struggling to reach the top? Sorry.
