Shin Sung-Han (Cho Seung-Woo) majored in piano and became a professor at a music university in Germany. One day, Shin Sung-Han hears shocking news. To find out the truth, he travels back to South Korea and works on becoming a lawyer. He eventually begins to work as a lawyer, specializing in divorce. Shin Sung-Han faces his clients, with various unfortunate stories, and stands up for them. While doing this, he approaches the truth that he has been seeking.

Dee Feb 14 2025 6:49 pm I dropped it when it first came out (after watching half of first episode) because I feel the first case ain’t up to my liking but I decided to continue on 2025 and I actually fell for it. The trio is my favorite as they barely keep any secret between them, they teases each other a lot but always there and go beyond for the friendship. Also, the child actors in this (Gi yeong and Hyeon U) definitely plays their role really well. I keep on crying because of them but also adore their acting. As for the episodes, I think for each case, they don’t really has much scene in the court but a good way to show how important is the mediation process. Overall, I’m loving this drama.

It made me cry too seeing the relationship between the uncle and his nephew. the antagonist character was delivered so well, I almost forgot that she also starred in partner of justice. But I wish Han Hye jin could have picked up better character for her comeback. She was almost unnoticed, I think her son stood out more.

The wonderful bond of his childhood friends and their hilarious antics is something unexpected in a lawyer series, they're so funny I love it! The complexity of the relationships and characters is harmonized so well, thank you for taking us along on their journey

Aj Mar 22 2024 9:21 am This drama started strong. The first few episodes were interesting new and awesome, but towards the end, it fizzled out, it had so good potential and felt rushed. It is not bad drama but just missed the awesome potential it had.

Darma was interesting and entertaining to watch though.

Julie Mar 11 2024 4:50 am I love this drama because it has seasoned, experienced actors who can do drama, comedy, and sentimentality. It is beautifully written and cleverly directed and acted. It is funny, charming, a little bit romantic and unusual. All the different cases are interesting and the main case forming the plot is full of unexpected twists.

This is the second time of watching it and I keep seeing new little gems. Great care, Great script and truly funny and endearing.

Loved this story about three guy friends around 40 years old and the character development. The actors were all great and especially liked Han Sung Eun, the young quirky attorney. Watched the series three times. Am glad they kept this to the 12 episodes as many dramas seem to drag things out unnecessarily.

So much feeling, anger and redemption, Adore the funny guy from Reply 1988, he’s hilarious, a true comedian. Both leafs excellent and the son Hang U too.

This is not a legal drama per se, such as Juvenile Justice with a set structure (ex. crime occurs, lawyers litigate in court, good/bad guy wins), but rather a general drama about relationships including friendship, non-traditional families, colleagues, etc.

First episode was decent and entertaining, but quickly became boring thereafter. The pacing of the series was incredibly slow, didn't really start picking up and getting juicy until the end. Writing was dull, characters lacked conflict. Camera time was often long shots on a character for two minutes at a time with no dialogue. A lot of lulls, not a series for the faint of heart. Finished more for completion's sake.

Han Hye-Jin's prolonged inclusion in the show was an ill-fit as others have commented. She barely had lines for 9 episodes, made for awkward television. The three lead actors truly are the stars and their friendship was endearing, though it took warming up. Some of the support characters added life in a much needed bore.

Overall, don't watch for juicy legal drama; watch for a chill run-of-the-mill drama (or skip completely).

King Pup 1722 Aug 06 2023 3:18 am I watched the series only because it starred Cho Seung-Woo. At 12 episodes, it’s shorter than the usual 16 episodes for most Korean series, and while I didn’t try checking up why, I wouldn’t be surprised if one reason is that the storyline was fizzling out towards the last few episodes.

The best part of the series was the tight male friendship between Cho Seung-Woo, Kim Sung-Kyun and Jung Moon-Sung. A significant portion of airtime was devoted to showing their camaraderie, and while it gives them the opportunity to display their onscreen bonding, it might not be great watching for viewers who’re not into mushy scenes.

To be honest, I expected more from the storylines due to the presence of heavyweight actor Cho Seung-Woo, but I have to rate it only as average. I guess maybe it’s difficult to write good plots about divorce court cases.

Noh Susanna did a good job of portraying her role as Seung-Woo’s adversary.

I am not done with it though. It has a lot of feels to it, and the ML is amazing. This is the first time watching him but he really gives off the vibes of a musician. The trio friends are SO FUNNY!

Kim Sung Kyun , Jung Moon Sung Were so good- the laughter they gave us as really dear friends - there for each other. It was all put together very well. Every one was really good . The kids also do a great job. Will fully recommend the drama . ??

This isn't your stereotypical attorney vs prosecutor show that gets exhausting after 3 episodes. There's plenty of comic relief, tension, taboo topics being talked about naturally and, of course, revenge with the help of the law! 100000/10

Loop Apr 12 2023 1:59 pm Definitely female lead character was unneeded and her acting was only about opening her eyes wide and looking surprised and then nodding at others, this expression was repeated in every scene with her or her emotional overreactions if she hears some bad news.

Other than that monster wife deserved hell of a life, she was so enabled by husband that even in courtroom she was sitting smiling at her evil plans. Could someone explain why she wanted to keep the child with her, like if it was to usurup his property how she was planning to do it? Didn't understand her obsession with the child.

Having said that again have to say drama's last episode was rushed and made you feel unsatisfied when it comes to 2nd wife's puninshment, she had it so easy, only child had moved out but nothing was taken away from her, she deserved to have been shamed publicly and have no career keft ahead of her and just go back to being her old self of planning to steal anothet man.

I found her bland and always looked like she was a deer caught in the headlights or just a blank emotionless expression on her face. Also when she they had her to manage a smile it still didn't work. Every time she was in a scene I found myself hitting the ff button on the remote and I almost dropped in just because of that. her character just wasn't needed past her eps. and was a waste of time. They should've had the noodle lady be the fl. I also had a problem with the way the ex husband just went on living with his terror of a wife. Why didn't they have him divorce her? Just because he gave her the cold shoulder at the end was no kind of punishment for all she did and to be frank that really p*ssed me off.

winnie Apr 10 2023 4:21 am @GreatWD, glad that Seo Jeong-Guk (Gi-Yeong's father) giving his second wife (Jin Yeong Ju) a cold shoulder. In my view, the second wife lack of class, i.e., the way she carried herself).

Therefore, it would good to have another episode for an interesting interaction between Gi-Yeong's father divorcing her, and spending time with Gi-Yeong despite Gi-Yeong is living with his uncle.

janni Apr 06 2023 11:49 am such a wonderful drama. very well written script. heart warming gestures and simple but funny moments. it showcases love, affection, compassion, consideration for others and true friendship. this is a kind of drama that can go on sequels like missing: the other side. i hope that the producers of this drama would make sequels with the same cast.. leads and support characters. cho seung woo has never failed to put up a great portrayal of every role he's into. would be nice to have gi young and granny ma geum hui would also be there. it would be great to watch dramas like this. i do really hope that they make sequels of this. 2 more episodes left and can't wait to see what happens when sung han finally finds out and put to justice the people behind his sister's untimely death.

kudos to the actors and production people. kindly give us more of this drama.

The script is so well done…hilarious Korean humor, earthy, real human being with a range of emotion. The casting was just inspired…pro actors in main lead positions and a supporting cast straight out of the treasure chest of wonderful Korean actors of all ages. Cho Seung-Woo, Kim Sung-Kyun, Jung Moon-Sung, & Han Eun-Sung, a bromance quartet were like an electric current that amped up the action whenever they appeared individually or together…unusual chemistry! Noh Susanna crafted a character we loved to hate as did Jeon Bae-Su. The child actors Kim Joon Eui & Kang Hye Won added much to the drama. The drama moves along at a good pace. Don’t miss this spirited drama! You will not be disappointed. This is Pro act all the way. Many award worthy performances to be found.

I have seen most of han hye jin dramas and her acting is really unique and she seems like a different person in every drama For example, if you go and see the two series Jumong and Syndrome, it's like you're seeing a completely different person!! Most of Han Hye Jin's critics were not born when she received the best acting awards every year! Cb Mar 31 2023 3:39 pm I'm on my second episode and I don't like the cheating lead. She's acting all smug to others but she act like a victim when she's trying to get custody of her son. If she was getting lonely and suffocated, she should've planned a proper divorce for her son. Trying to like this show because of the 3 male leads but it's hard when they're trying to defend a cheating wife who looks mean and condescending when talking to others.

Suzanne Mar 26 2023 1:21 pm I’m sorry, but I’m finding this series frustrating. I don’t know if it’s the script, directing or acting, but much of the antics are childish & completely unbelievable. If I never see another scene in ANY K-drama with the characters drinking copious amounts of soju, beer, hard liquor or wine & acting drunk, it’ll be fine with me. I can’t imagine what that amount of alcohol would do to your liver & it’s not cute or funny. It’s become such a worn out cliche. Otherwise, I think this could have been a fine drama with a shot of reality injected throughout. I loved Cho Seung-woo in Stranger & Life. I also loved Kim Sung-kyung in Reply 1988, DP & other dramas, Jung Moon-sung in Hospital Playlist as well as some more serious roles. Kang Mal-geum is adorable, I really enjoyed her character in Thirty Nine too. I’ve never seen Han Eun-sung before, but so far, I really enjoy his acting. All are fine actors actually.

soom Mar 21 2023 9:05 pm Really enjoying the series, full of great actors interpreting a fine and original script. That said, I can't get over how/why the casting dir chose Ham Hye gin for the fem lead. She's too perfect-looking. Her wide eyed deer-in-the-headlights look is wearing thin. I hope there is not a romantic thread developing between her and Atty Shin; he's too seasoned an actor, and his character is quirky enough that he deserves a stronger, more complex personality to play against. We'll see how it goes.

I can't help but be reminded of Canadian actor Martin Short in his early days onscreen, when Jung Moon Sung shows off his own comedic talents! looking forward to the coming episodes with much interest! One of the best Korean dramedy series I've seen.

It’s got good balance of comedy and drama. The chemistry of the 3 is so funny and genuine. Really feel like old friend. The story of the 2nd ahjumma being bullied by the MIL is so sad :(( I feel for her. Fighting!

but after watching it wasn't, I think I really hope this drama is a fun type of drama. this drama is full of suspense and seriousness, I still don't know whether to continue it or not. let alone really focus on the divorce case which is still far from me.

yuuri Mar 05 2023 7:50 pm The drama is not making the woman who cheated here a victim. They're fighting for the child's costudy so of course they'll do anyting just to prove their case and win the lawsuit. They did not say that cheating because of an abusive relationship was right.

Weird Mar 05 2023 3:26 pm @james i know but solution to abuse is not cheating specially you have a kid. Drama was constantly portraying her as a victim when she was also part of problem. If a male character was cheating imagine how much he would have been cursed, i always see even abused male characters who cheat in dramas and people still abuse them but when its a female cheater she becomes a victim etc etc.

I like the show, and it is a mature writing and would like more people here to watch and share their views.

I see your point but her relationship with her husband was abusive for quite sometime, long before she commited adultery. Not saying her cheating was the right move, but she was not in a happy relationship at all. A lot of mental, emotional and physical abuse.
