Prime Entertainment has been in existence since March of 1983. Initially the company was named "Han-Won Electronics Inc." and then went through several name changes (Hwa-Seung Electronics, Inc., Nixo Telecom Inc., INNOTZ Inc.) until March of 2006 when the company modified their name to Prime Entertainment.
