I thought she's still in her mid 20's or early 30's like damn she looks so young on netflix's making of first love vid on yt, she somehow looks like shuhua of gidle for me. And her attention to detail and everything she explained on the making of the series, it's like she's one of the younger generations who just debuted on film industry 'cause everything on the series is perfect for young generations that seems like the one who directed is super young! I'm praising this series so much 'cause I've never been hooked on a japanese film before 'cause most of those I've watched has a lot of flaws, like the casting is lame because they didn't took actors and actresses that is actually good in acting, so it makes the film cringey, the cinematography sucks, the dialogue ane what not. But damn this series is perfect! The casting was also great! I gotta say hiraki (adult yae) and taisei kido (young namiki) are the one's that has really astounding acting on this series although everyone's acting is great, even the minors characters like namiki's family's acting is really good. But those two really made me stay a lot more on the series, and everyone's acting is so great that I feel like I'm watching a kdrama. This one didn't disappoint me. Kudos to the director, really looking forward for more of her future projects.

Anzai Mar 03 2012 3:50 pm I really like your movie "my rainy days" at the begining I thought it would be a movie about ijimae and prostitution but then love comes and everything turn into a love and hopefull story. The teacher is very charismatic by the way I'm not someone who likes love story but this one was well-balanced.

for someone who's just started it's really great! keep going, and make another movie in this genre, i'd love watching it!!
