Akari (Yuriko Yoshitaka) lost her eyesight and family in an accident. While trying to enjoy the small things in her life, Akari struggles to live happily. Akari mistakes Rui (Ryusei Yokohama) for someone else and begins to talk to him. Rui was once a promising kickboxer, but something happened in his past to cause him to disassociate himself from everyone. Akari's smile brings out a change in Rui. The two people begin to have feelings for each other, but Rui learns about Akari's past accident and his connection. Rui decides to take part in an underground fight to pay for Akari's eye surgery.

ShinRose Aug 19 2022 4:29 am This is the first work of Ryusei that I watched. And I love it. I saw the original version too, but I like the Japanese adaptation more. Han Hyo-Joo and So Ji-Sub did the good job but Yoshitaka Yuriko and Yokohama Ryusei made it more convincing, playing the cheerful blind woman and mysterious guy who had a dark past fell in love with each other, I felt their character, it reach me. That's why I love it.

PS. this is my opinion, no hard feelings to Kdrama fans. I like Hyo-Joo and Ji-Sub, I used to watch their series before.
