Eps. 1
Se-jin dreams of traveling to 30 countries before she becomes 30 years old. She worked
hard for the past 2 years to save enough money to make her dream come true. Her first destination is Singapore. People might wonder why she chose Singapore for her first destination, but she has her own reasons, which only make perfect sense to herself. Seung-wan is very worried and nervous about his girlfriend, who left for Singapore to study. She used to call and send text messages every single day, but she seems alienated these days. She doesn’t call him as often as she used to, and her mind seems to be somewhere else even when they talk. He regrets having let her go alone. If only he hadn’t got a scholastic warning from the school this semester, if only his father hadn’t hit the ceiling and taken his passport away, he would’ve gone with her. Finally, he loses contact with his girlfriend. He can’t just sit around and wait for her call. He decides to go to Singapore and look for her. He steals his passport back and gets on the airplane to Singapore.
Eps. 2
Both Seung-wan and Se-jin wake up and are shocked to see each other in the same bed. Seung-wan suggests that they shouldn’t blame each other for what happened the night before since both of them are grown-ups. However, he runs away from Se-jin without saying anything. Se-jin feels upset and betrayed.
Seung-wan comes back to Korea. He finds out that Chae-young was going out with Do-hyeon in Singapore. While drinking, he makes up his mind not to lose his girlfriend to Do-hyeon, but he ends up charging lots of money on his credit card. His father is shocked to see his credit card bill and kicks him out of the house. Having no place to go, Seung-wan goes to Chang-myeong’s place. But he finds Do-hyeon there and turns around. Wandering in the street, he runs into Se-jin…
Eps. 3
Se-jin thinks that she might be pregnant, but she refuses to believe it. Meanwhile, Seung-wan and Chae-young go out and enjoy a movie together. Chae-young keeps sending text messages to Do-hyeon while she’s out with Seung-wan. Do-hyeon doesn’t seem so excited to receive the messages from her.
Se-jin decides to go get a pregnancy test, but she’s afraid people might recognize her and tell her family. She runs into Do-hyeon at the pharmacy.
Seung-wan decides to study hard and become a pilot like Chae-young wants. Se-jin asks her sister Il-jin if she has ever used a pregnancy test. Being suspicious about her sister’s odd question, Il-jin feels that Se-jin is up to something. Se-jin is shocked to find out that she’s pregnant. She goes to Seung-wan’s school looking for him. But she runs into Do-hyeon again and sees Seung-wan and Chae-young together.

Il-jin shows up with Shin-bi at Seung-wan’s father’s birthday party. Seung-wan’s family is shocked to find out that Shin-bi is Seung-wan and Se-jin’s daughter. Il-jin lies to them that Se-jin died just after Shin-bi was born and Seung-wan’s family takes Shin-bi home. Seung-wan doesn’t know what to do and asks for advice from his friend Chang-myeong. Chae-young is upset about the whole situation and tells Do-hyeon that Se-jin died leaving Seung-wan’s child behind.
When Se-jin comes back from her trip, she finds out that her daughter Shin-bi is missing. She goes out to look for her and runs into Jae-kyeong. Jae-kyeong asks who the father of the baby is and Se-jin tells her the truth. Seung-wan’s family is surprised to see Se-jin alive. Both families refuse to give up Shin-bi and Seung-wan’s father tells Seung-wan to marry Se-jin right away.

Seung-wan reluctantly proposes to Se-jin. But Se-jin just walks away with Shin-bi, saying that she’s not desperate enough to marry him. Seung-wan’s father asks Seung-wan to bring Shin-bi back. Seung-wan goes to Chae-young, but she tells him that she has never loved him and wants nothing to do with him.
Seung-wan’s father Beom-su tells Se-jin that Seung-wan hasn’t come home for days. Se-jin asks Do-hyeon to let her meet Chae-young. Se-jin and Do-hyeon go to Chae-young’s school, and they find Seung-wan there. To make Chae-young jealous, Seung-wan tells her that he’ll marry Se-jin. Seung-wan and Se-jin grudgingly agree to get married. After the wedding, they go on a honeymoon, but they keep arguing over everything.

Chae-young finds out that Do-hyeon is living next door to Seung-wan and Se-jin. Do-hyeon tries to be nice to Seung-wan as a neighbor, but Seung-wan, unhappy about Chae-young and Do-hyeon hanging out together, shows him the cold shoulder. Chae-young often comes to Do-hyeon’s house and Seung-wan gets jealous. Se-jin is upset about Seung-wan’s lingering feelings towards Chae-young.
Seung-wan and Se-jin visit Seung-wan’s father’s house. Beon-su tells them to take care of each other as husband and wife and become good parents to Shin-bi. Shin-bi gets sick, so Se-jin reluctantly cancels her visit to her parents’ house in Cheon-an. Seung-wan and Se-jin have an argument about who will take care of their daughter while they go to work.
Eps. 7
Upset with Seung-wan, Se-jin goes to her sister’s house with Shin-bi. There, she sees her mother blaming her sister for what she’s done and turns around.
Worried about Se-jin, Seung-wan goes to the church to look for her. Seung-wan apologizes, but Se-jin tells him that they can’t carry on their marriage without love. Seung-wan asks his father to let him work at the construction site for a month and he works hard. Chae-young decides to go study abroad with Do-hyeon. Meanwhile, Seung-wan is drafted, but he doesn’t tell Se-jin. Seung-wan wants to spend some valuable time with Se-jin and Shin-bi before he leaves to join the army.

Shin-bi turns 5 year old. Seung-wan comes back from the army and goes back to school. Se-jin tries to get a job. Seung-wan studies hard even though other students make fun of him for getting married so early and having a child. Se-jin has a hard time getting a job because no one wants to hire a married woman with a child.
Chae-young comes back to Korea. She wants to meet Do-hyeon right away, but Do-hyeon asks her to come over the next day, saying he’s busy with work.
Strapped for money, Seung-wan and Se-jin go to Seung-wan’s parents for help. However, Beom-su finds out that they got married only conditionally and criticizes them for not being serious about their marriage. They’re forced to leave the house without receiving the money they need.
Eps. 9
Startled by a guard, Se-jin and Seung-wan run away. They later realize that they have been holding hands all this time. Feeling awkward, Se-jin tries to pretend nothing happened. However, they walk all the way home holding hands. Se-jin and Seung-wan spend some quality time together. Seung-wan suggests that they try to get to know each other better, and Se-jin feels excited about the idea.
Next morning, when Seung-wan goes to see Chang-myeong who lives the next door, he runs into Do-hyeon. Seung-wan feels jealous when he sees Se-jin and Do-hyeon making food together. Later, Seung-wan hands a job application to Se-jin for Kid’s Bear. Se-jin knows that Chae-young gave it to him. She gets upset about the fact that Seung-wan is meeting Chae-young behind her back. When they are about to have an argument, their daughter Shin-bi calls. As soon as they hear her voice, they forget about the argument and head to his parents’ house to see her.

Seung-wan sees Se-jin and Do-hyeon together with his daughter Shin-bi. Do-hyeon gives them a ride home, but Seung-wan who is jealous of Do-hyeon complains all the way home. Se-jin feels embarrassed about his behavior. Se-jin, Seung-wan and Shin-bi have a great time together as a family.
Se-jin gets sick, so Seung-wan takes her to his parents’ house. He asks his parents to take good care of Se-jin. Seung-wan goes to Jae-kyeong’s restaurant and helps her. Jae-kyeong is very proud of her son-in-law. Meanwhile, Seung-wan’s family tells Se-jin about Seung-wan’s childhood. Se-jin learns a lot about her husband and feels closer to him. Seung-wan also hears about Se-jin’s childhood from her family. He realizes that he doesn’t know enough about his wife to understand her. Later, Se-jin finds out that Seung-wan went to help her mother and feels thankful. Se-jin gets a job at Kid’s Bear, but Seung-wan isn’t happy since Do-hyeon is working there as well.

Se-jin happens to see the invitation for Seung-wan’s high school reunion. She asks if he will go. Se-jin isn’t happy about Seung-wan’s going to the reunion, but she doesn’t say anything to Seung-wan. Se-jin goes to see her sister-in-law Hyun-ju and runs into Chae-young. Hyun-ju and Chae-young know each other very well. Se-jin feels excluded. Chae-young hears from Hyun-ju that the marriage contract between Se-jin and Seung-wan is only good for another year.
Se-jin has an argument with Seung-wan and complains to Do-hyun. Seung-wan sees her talking to Do-hyun. He tells Do-hyun to stay away from Se-jin. He feels jealous when his daughter Shin-bi runs to Do-hyun and hugs him. At work, Se-jin and Chae-young are against each other on everything. However, Do-hyun chooses Se-jin’s idea about the project. Seung-wan meets Chae-young at his high school reunion. Seung-wan tells Chae-young that he doesn’t want to hurt Se-jin and he tries to forget about the time with Chae-young.

Se-jin and Do-hyun are on a business trip together. Se-jin tells Do-hyun that her daughter Shin-bi is sick and she’s worried about her. Just then, Se-jin receives a call from Seung-wan saying that Shin-bi is ok. However, Se-jin doesn’t know that Seung-wan is watching Se-jin and Do-hyun around the corner. Se-jin is happy to come back from the trip. She is touched that Seung-wan cleaned the house for her. There is a rumor going around about Se-jin and Do-hyun at work. Se-jin feels that people are talking behind her back, but she doesn’t understand exactly what it is about. Chae-young tells Se-jin to stop seducing Do-hyun and Se-jin tells Chae-young to stop rousing Seung-wan’s emotions. Seung-wan hears that Se-jin’s has said that to Chae-young and gets angry at Se-jin. To help Se-jin and Seung-wan make up, Do-hyun gives Chang-myung a travel gift certificate. Seung-wan, Se-jin, Il-jin and Chang-myung have a great time together.
Eps. 13
Shin-bi gets sick again and she is sent to the hospital. Shin-bi’s grandmother tries to contact Seung-wan and Se-jin, but she can’t reach them. She finally calls Chang-myung’s house and Do-hyun happens to answer the phone. Se-jin hears that Shin-bi is in the hospital and rushes there. Do-hyun offers her a ride, but Se-jin takes a taxi. Seung-pil tells Seung-wan that Shin-bi’s condition is critical. Se-jin tells Seung-wan that she will let him go if he wants. However, she tells him that she won’t give up Shin-bi.
Se-jin tells Seung-wan that she’ll quit her job to spend more time with her daughter. She also thanks him for being nice to her and giving her happy memories. Seung-wan decides to make a special day for Shin-bi and Se-jin. Do-hyun tells Seung-wan that the man Se-jin has always loved is Seung-wan.
Eps. 14
Seung-wan tells Se-jin that he loves her. He also tells her that Shin-bi is in critical condition. Se-jin can’t believe that her little daughter is dying. Seung-wan and Se-jin decide to encourage each other not to give up. Instead of sitting around and being sad, they decide to become strong for everyone. Seung-wan finds out that Shin-bi needs a bone marrow transplant to survive. Do-hyun comes to visit Shin-bi in the hospital. He runs into Chae-young, who blames him for being in the middle of Seung-wan and Se-jin. Do-hyun sees Seung-wan and Shin-bi together, and he just turns around not to bother them. To give Seung-wan and Se-jin some time together, Shin-bi and Il-jin send them to get some food for her. Se-jin tells Seung-wan that she feels lucky about having a lovely daughter who cares about her parents and having a good time with him, as well. Seung-wan realizes his love toward Se-jin.
Eps. 15
Shin-bi asks her parents if she’s dying, which makes Seung-wan and Se-jin heart-broken. Shin-bi cries saying that she doesn’t want to leave her mom and dad. Se-jin can’t believe that her bone marrow doesn’t match with Shin-bi’s. Exhausted, Se-jin collapses. Seung-wan takes her to the hospital.
Se-jin decides to become strong for Shin-bi. Even though she sees Shin-bi losing a handful of hair, she tries to keep calm. Seung-wan’s mother says something to Seung-wan about having another child, but Seung-wan knows that Se-jin can’t afford having another child, both physically and psychologically. Do-hyeon and Chae-young take a bone marrow test to see if either of them can be a potential donor. Seung-wan and Se-jin take Shin-bi to the amusement park, where her condition worsens.
Eps. 16
Shin-bi is taken to the emergency room. Seung-wan and Se-jin are told that Shin-bi’s condition is very bad. Shin-bi is sent to a sterilized room for intense care, and her parents are at a loss. Se-jin goes to the bone marrow bank to ask for help. Shin-bi wakes up and makes everyone in the family happy. Meanwhile, Seung-wan hear that he has matching bone marrow with a patient and is asked if he’s willing to donate. Hesitant at first, he decides to help that person for Shin-bi. On the way to the surgery, Se-jin tells Seung-wan that she’s so lucky to have him in her life and that she loves him. Soon, Seung-wan hears that they have found a donor for Shin-bi.
