Plot
- Episode 1: A businessman rushes to catch the lift at his apartment building at midnight. But the lift stops as soon as it starts to move, leaving the man and an attractive woman stranded. Upset, the woman begins to talk strangely, accusing him with talking nonsense and start wielding a knife.
- Episode 2: Etsuko finds herself in need of work, but with few skills, she can’t seem to find any employment anywhere. One day, she happens to meet a woman named Hatsue and been offered to meet her friend for a job.
- Episode 3: Irie, a novelist, is visiting his hometown after seven years. When he leaves a small train station without showing his ticket, but is stopped by the station staff. Irie claims that it was an honest mistake, but the staff warps everything he says into new accusations.
- Episode 4: When a sudden rainstorm leaves the beautiful Sumi stranded at a rural train station, Jusuke, a traveling kimono salesman, offers to help take her to a local inn. With only one vacancy, the two are forced to share a room. Unable to sleep, Sumi opens the window, but reels back at what she sees.
- Episode 5: A reporter Sasaki and his photographer Hatayama are doing a story on a deserted island when a typhoon hits. The boat they hired fails to pick them up, so they seek shelter in the only building on the island. There are two other farmers are also hold up there. When Sasaki asks the two if they know of any other way to get off the island, they mention an illegal airline service.
