Kanae (Yoko Maki) runs a bathhouse. Suddenly, her husband Satoru Sekiguchi (Eita Nagayama) disappears. Kanae goes through a lot because of this and temporarily closes the bathhouse. When she reopens for business, a man named Takayuki Hori (Arata Iura) comes to her and asks if he can work for her. Takayuki Hori, who doesn't have a place to live, begins to live with Kanae and work at the bathhouse. Their strange communal life begins.
Meanwhile, Kanae and Private Detective Michio Yamasaki (Lily Franky), who Kanae hired to find her husband, searches for Satoru Sekiguchi’s whereabouts. One by one, Kanae discover unknown facts about her husband.
