Plot
A hairdresser, a tarot card reader, a lunch delivery boy, a celebrity reporter, a record store clerk and a bartender-- two women and four men, six twentysomethings whose very different lives converge at the bars and cafes on the hip Kowloon thoroughfare of Ashley Road. A bargain apartment for rent, affordable by one but perfect for six. First: a resolution for each to reach a new goal in life by the end of the one-year lease. Then: a month-long housewarming, the ensuing drinking and smoking spree, and endless games of truth or dare, in and outside the new house of madness that is Rear Block Sixth Floor. Two months before the deadline comes an unwelcome reminder of the deal. The goals now seem impossible but none can afford to stay on the coach, for the loser will eat crap in front of all. Played to the melancholic tunes of Radiohead and Nicholas Tse, this is their ultimate game of truth or dare.
