The owner of a small clock store Morikazu (Jun Kunimura) finds his eyesight is faltering and ponders whether to close down his shop for good. A young woman named Ryo (Erika Sawajiri) walks into his store to repair an old watch. Several days later, Ryo visits Morikazu again and mentions that the watch belonged to her mother who died from the tsunami two years ago.
While Morikazu looks at the watch carefully, he thinks that the watch looks familiar. He is then surprised to hear the name of the watch owner. Her name is Chikako Kuniki (Fumino Kimura). Morikazu loved Chikako Kuniki.
