Kazutaka An (Tasuku Emoto) is a young psychiatrist at Kobe University Hospital. He enjoys playing jazz, recording his thoughts in a diary and reading books. Suddenly, a devastating earthquake hits Kobe. Kazutaka An is traumatized by the earthquake himself, but he still gives treatment to the victims. He listens to their stories and feels their pain.

Kathleen M Tucker Sep 13 2022 4:54 pm Saw movie on PBS, PORTLAND, OREGON recently.. Very Beautiful, sweet, and gentle.Thank you. Hope I get a chance to watch the whole thing. It helped me to appreciate it more when I learned how the Japanese culture--even more than ours in the U.S.--feels completely uncomfortable dealing with trauma and pain. So for him to try to help others experiencing deep emotions took a lot of both courage and creativity. So sad he died so young. God bless Dr. An And all involved with bringing his book to life. ❤

This drama was very well played and acted. It resonated with me as I am a survivor of extreme trauma. Thank you for your honest production of a real thing in this world today.
