Plot
The film is based on the real life story which traces the rise and fall of a triad member. In the late sixties, a bunch of teenagers headed by Chen Hua, fight for local turf in Tsz Wan Shan.
They made a name, "The thirteen Guardians of Tsz Wan Shan", for themselves and assert influence over the district. At first, they felt heroic.
But as they leave the days of poverty behind, they slowly fall down the paths of drug abuse. Hua tried many times to give up drugs but did not succeed. He was abandoned by his girlfriend and all his best friends.
In the end, it was the death of his most beloved father that changed him. He was determined to make all over. He gave up drugs and became a Christian. He then helped other drug addicts and juvenile delinquents through his religion.
