"The Third Way of Love" tells the sad love story of Lin Qi Zheng (Song Seung-Heon), who is from a rich family, and Zhou Yu (Yifei Liu) who is a smart and beautiful lawyer.

Both Actor and Actress played their parts well, a lovely romance story, pity it had a sad ending. I would like to know will there be a Part 2 to this movie, I am sure a lot of people would like to see this couple have a happy ending. Please let me know because it would be nice to see a continuation to go on to a wonderful finish.

Cris Jul 27 2020 11:32 pm Halfway through, I was falling asleep. The handsomeness of SSH just made me watch the whole thing- such an eye candy lol. Sad ending but at least not as tragic as “Obsessed”. The latter is a way better movie that this borefest though. Of topic, with all the money Liu Yifei has, she should really consider fixing her teeth.

XiaoLongNu Feb 25 2017 7:01 pm I love this movie very much. The story, the cast, the director and the cinematography was very well done. The only problem is the ending.... very heartbreaking. But it's genuine. Love does give happiness to the lead characters but it was temporary. As what the Zhou Yu (female lead) said, she did know at first that they cannot be together because of their different life status. But the movie itself is a thumbs up! I recommend this to everyone.

The lead characters might not have a happy ending in this movie, glad to know they continued romance in real life. Wishing happiness for Song Seung Heon and Liu Yi Fei :)

Excalibunny Feb 14 2016 9:06 am Coming from John H Lee, the movie is without doubt super beautifully shot. Perhaps, it's not fair to compare it to his previous entry 'A Moment to Remember'. I find that the latter easily overshadow 'Third Way of Love'. The casting however is done well. What's there to a beautiful film without beautiful actors! And the backdrop of the magnificent Shanghai is a bonus!
