Wie Dae-Han (Song Seung-Heon) is an ex-lawmaker and is a materialistic kind of politician. He wants to get elected as lawmaker again. One day, 18-year-old girl Da-Jung (Roh Jeong-Eui) comes to him. She tells him that he is her real father. Her mother raised four children, including Da-Jung, alone, but she died in a hit-and-run accident. Da-Jung is the only one now taking care of her 3 younger siblings. Wie Dae-Han accepts Da-Jung and her 3 younger siblings. He carries out “The Great Show” to become a lawmaker again.

Bob Jan 11 2022 5:21 am Yes I too found the kids annoying. But to be true to the scenario, they grew up without much guidance and not in the best of environments. But they will slowly improve and bring about Dae Han's personality change as he grows up too. I like how this drama was brave enough to discuss touchy subject matters in the modern day society that could be a turn off for some viewers....maybe why such low ratings. It's a great show!

Sleeju Aug 17 2020 9:40 am I really like this drama. Song Seung Heon is one of the Korean actors that I like. This is the first drama I’ve watched with Lee Sun-bin in it and what I can say about her acting is she’s pretty good and really beautiful!

Roh Jeong-Eoi is a good actress too. I also like how they didn’t show her baby bump haha. I first watched Jung Hoon-Won in The World of the Married (Great kdrama btw) and he’s actually good at portraying Han Tak’s emotions, I felt like I was really watching Han Tak, at a young age, he’s pretty good.

Now, the 2 little siblings, Song Yi and Tae Poong are sooooooo cute! And they memorized their lines very good!

Overall, I would give this drama a 8.5/10. For me, it got boring in like ep 8-13 but it gets interesting. Plus Hyuk from Vixx is there and I loge his voice, his song is the outro of each episode. That’s all, hope ya’ll watch it!

The drama was so entertaining and i loved the acting of all the casts. The drama showed how dirty politics is. Was also impressed on the story on family and teenage life.

A must see drama...highly recommended. One of the best dramas i’ve seen.

A very great yet underrated drama (idek why it is so)!!! A light, heartwarming poilitical drama that makes you cry, laugh, smile, cringe, angry, sad and understands others. Nede Jan 21 2020 9:07 pm This would be my very first time to leave a comment on this page on any shows I have watched, but reading the comment about this show pushed me to write my opinion tho' simply because, it surpassed my expectation based on what I have read here. SSH once again did a great job here. Following his shows since "Black" and again, his drama always brought me to tears. This drama really mirrors the realities of society nowadays. And yes, there might be a big age gap between SSH and LSB but, please take note, that the show did not focused on their lovestory at all, as they give emphasis to the politics and family issues more than the lovestory.

Like, srsly there will be a live story between LSB and SSH??? Why he always paired with women that much much more younger than him-_- ok, lets say that i like oppa-dongsaeng relationship, instead of noona-dongsaeng. But thats too much-_- the only SSH' drama that i can watch is the player. And his first drama that i watch is when a man loves, which he paired with SSK and i cant finish that drama? Ok this ain't a review, i just leave my thought thru this comment section about the cast?

Most kdramas get a little boring at the mid season but it was really good in every episode..instead of just focusing on romance..it focused in the story and the political aspect of the drama..which was really fun to watch. More shows like this please! I would rate the show 7/10.

Regardless of age, according to the script the were college students, close to age, each one did what the script said to do, what the Producers want then to do, to me that is good acting. Acting is hard, I will love to do it but i can't, so I enjoy what is giving to me for me to enjoy. I am not saying that the Drama was perfect nor am I saying that the kids were not annoying because they were, on another note, they did what they were told to do. Just Saying

Beth Oct 03 2019 8:19 pm The casting is super weird, I thought Lee Sun Bin would play Song Seung Heon's sister not his freaking love interest, he's in his 40s but she's in her early 20s, this is freaking gross, she's suppose to be his age. WTF why can't ya'll cast a female in her 40s, there are plenty of talented actresses in their 40s who look 40 but also look good.

With that said, he probably had the wrong father figure growing up which is why he is the way he is. Regardless, he is annoying me so much. All his lines are short and mad inducing one liners.
