A husband (Yoo Ji-Tae) works as a successful prosecutor and his future appears bright, but he gets arrested for corruption in a political scandal. His wife (Jeon Do-Yeon) worked as an attorney prior to their marriage, now resumes her career after a 15 year hiatus. She begins to find her true identity.

She is so wrong and doesn't really fit into the role - her face and body language seems zero reaction + no expression be it happy or not. She also doesn't match up with both actors (she looks older than Yoon Kye-Sang (as Seo Joong-Won).

The rest of the actors and actress = THUMBS UP!!

appreciate May 13 2017 10:13 am This is good. The actresses are stellar. The actors are great as well. Yoo JiTae is a true prick. The writing is more cohesive than the original. The dialogue isn't like Kdrama style; it's without excess, restrained and realistic.

 On a whole, they tighten the drama, since they decided to shorten Season One (what 24 episodes?) into 16 episode. It is refined. There is no exaggerated acting or writing. Even the shots, the sets and costumes are meticulous.

When you finish it, you'll probably hope they'd do another season.

Clarkdale44 Apr 13 2017 2:02 pm To be honest i was not much interested due to this being the remake of American drama of the same name... I have tried watching that but got bored and was barely able to continue after 5-6 episodes....

I have ignored the Korean version for a while thinking it would be the same as American counterpart and today i found how wrong i was.

I finally watched it anyway and i regret not watching it all this time....

I am truly impressed by the main leads... The casting, the cinematography, the plot, the music... All of these have exceeded my expectations... I don't have the words to describe...

I can easily say very minute i have spent watching this is completely worth it....

This drama truly deserves a second season and so on to know what happened with our leads life..

I will give it 9.5/10 no doubt....

Nicey Sep 17 2016 6:32 pm @mosh Maybe the problem is Jeon Do Yeon's eyes, she didn't change her expression from start to finish of this drama, her eyes look sad always even when she's happy. She seem to be having a hard time or she has problems in real life or I don't know she has got lonely eyes all throughout the drama. That is why she has only one facial expression @mosh is saying. But the drama is good highly recommended.

Chatelaineces Aug 16 2016 7:12 pm I almost missed this drama had I not read the "daebak" comments about it. Adjectives to describe this: awesome, riveting and compelling. Excellence points: well crafted legal drama story, superb cast and acting, quick pacing, competent and insightful direction, etc. I marathoned 11 episodes and am now completely hooked by it. I am rather happy there is an Asian version because I am sure the Koreans are more sensitive to the public sensibilities. I have not watched an American drama for over 2 years. I have grown tired of outright display of sex, violence and general tendency to shock the senses. Watch this! Great stuff!

Love the entire cast...nothing to hate on, not even the cameo characters....each actor/actress fits the role they are portraying perfectly. Lee Tae Joon as the Asian Peter...fantastic choice, and Kim Kye Kyun...daebak. I only wish this drama ran for more than 16 episodes....but such as it is...I am watching each til the end.

Ok, in the american version I clearly remember that in one episode Cary was high on mushrooms. I was sure they wouldn't keep that plotline in the korean show but in the preview kCary, Joon-ho, seems pretty high as well. Are they going to keep the mushrooms thing or is he going to be drunk or high on weed, or what else? I really can't picture it in a korean show but, who knows? They did keep Kalinda's bisexuality afterall. Now I am super curious haha. By the way, those scenes with stoned Cary were hilarious in the original show so I hope it will be the same hahaha.

They have stated a numerous of times that this was a RE-MAKE of the American series, they have permission. Anyway the show is amazing and the main cast is amazing. I'm really impressed with Nana's acting here she's better than most Idol actors who have been in way more dramas as leads. She's doing phenomenal for it to be her first drama, and Jeon Do Yeon is fabulous as the lead.

All of the main casts are already proven as pros so it comes as no surprise here especially for Jeon Do Yeon but at least i thought that Nana might probably be the black hole of this drama. I bet, since her beauty is just too astounding i thought that it'll be just another gorgeous idol case who wants to elevate her popularity through acting but i was wrong. Can't wait for the next episodes(TvN dramas are always jjang:D)
