Sakura (Yukie Nakama) is a detective who uses her listening skills to solve cases.

In the morning, Sakura listens to callers to as DJ Kokoro at a local radio station. In the afternoon, she listens to citizens' problems by working at the Community Safety Section at the Komagome Central Police Office. At night, she receives information from regulars at a restaurant run by her grandmother Ume (Mitsuko Kusabue).

When cases takes place, Sakura goes undercover to investigate. She partners with Detective Masato (Ryuta Sato) as they work to solve mysterious cases together.

Card Jan 30 2017 2:47 am Personally, this is a decent show. The plot is good although the criminals are predictable but still I watched the show because of the motivation for the murder and the way they solve cases is good.

And the fact that kokoro san and Sakura are the same person that Masato is falling in love with. Can't wait for him to realise that. I love this drama and shout along "Good Morning Komagome!" Well done Sakura team!!!

ace Dec 18 2014 8:41 am Ok. Back again after 9 episodes. This is surely one of the most disappointing dramas I've watched. Not because it is particularly bad. But because of the repetitive, predictable nature of the show and the lack of proper usage of the lead actors' considerable talents. Disappointed for the potential that was squandered.

Seriously, aside from the criminal cases themselves, every episode is exactly the same. The lead actors arguments are the same and happen at the same time each episode, the way they solve the cases are the same, even the fights are all the same. It is as if they used a single storyboard for every single episode. You can almost set your watch by the predictability of this show.

While the cases are rather interesting, the repetitive nature of everything else nullifies interest in the cases.

Which leads me to the most disappointing thing of all....Yukie Nakama & Ryuta Sato being basically wasted. Yukie Nakama has a really wide acting range. From broad comedy to Machiavellian Evil. You'd think her going undercover in each episode this would lead to great acting opportunities. Nope. just a change of outfits is all. Which is cute but there must be more than being cute.

All-in-all, I cannot in good conscience recommend this drama. My advice is watch the first and last episodes. Everything else is filler.

J Dorama Onna Nov 13 2014 3:59 pm Yes, agreed with the last commentor - Has potential but somewhat disappointing. For me it's the predictability of the drama. Each episode is the same just different different murder case. Yukie Nakama & Ryuta Sato are great and very funny actors .. I thought those elements would have been put in this drama.

ace Nov 05 2014 11:50 pm I really do not like saying this. A lot. But only at episode 3 and I am disappointed. On one level it is a decent show. Decent premise. Great cast. Ok plots. But on the other level there is the less than stellar script backing up the plot. It is one thing to watch the tired old trope of two people bickering and arguing over and over as a way of showing interest in each other. But the bickering and arguing cannot just be shouting the same uninteresting things over and over. If you are going have them argue at least make the argument entertaining or engaging. Make what they say important too, not just how loud they say it.

I will keep watching because Yukie Nakama really is a decent actress. I hope the show can find its legs. I hope it can rise to its potential.
