Plot

"The Bean Chaff of My Life," is a MBC TV series starring actor Park Kwang-Hyun and actress So Yu-Jin. It is a hilarious story about a couple desperately seeking their better halves to get married.

In 1992, Eun-young (So Yu-Jin) met Gyung-soo (Park Kwang-Hyun) while she was campaigning for a candidate in local election. But they were two different kinds and their relationship did not last. 12 years have passed and they are now over 30. Still single but waning to get married, they are now friends and agree to help each other find the right ones.

Park Min Mar 22 2023 9:19 pm I couldn't stomach most of the characters and pairs even though it's a lighter drama. Might be the worst iteration of the trope "friends to lovers after dating a handful of other people". This resulted in making the drama unnecessarily long and uninteresting because you were watching a relationship after another that was guaranteed to fail. The musical parts sucked and never was fitting of the scene. I don't know why they wanted it to be partially musical. Aside from few funny moments there wasn't much else to it.
