"Sympathy For Us" follows Joo-An (Lim Joon-Sik), who walks with a limp, Yo-Da (Lim Dong-Yoon), who has Mongolian blue spot birthmarks, and Deok-Jung (Kim Sang-Ho), who has yellow dyed hair & a huge fan of Kurt Cobain. These 3 guys are always hanging out together, but they don't know what to do, how to live or even why they should live. For a new years trip, the guys decide to go to Gunsan. Yo-Da wants to go on a deep-sea fishing vessel and Joo-An & Deok-Jung wants to eat raw fish there with friends Se-Ryu and Mo-Ran. The three guys get on a train for Gunsan. The guys finally get to the port after many complications. How will they spend their last days in their 20's?
