Plot

Years ago, Tae-Sik (Kim Rae-Won) was a feared henchmen for the mob, but after spending 10 years in prison Tae-Sik now only wants to live a normal life. He returns to a place he thinks of as home and to the woman (Kim Hae-Sook) who has looked after him like a mother. Trouble then finds Tae-Sik again, when gangsters want to build a nightclub over the land that Tae-Sik's mother occupies.

Once the gangsters attack Tae-Sik's "adopted" family, Tae-Sik goes after the gangsters with pure vengeance.

Ning68 Aug 14 2019 6:51 pm Whyit didnt finished properly? Eventhough the story is common and dull still Kim delivered the caracter well. Lets admit others leave like this. This is only reminder thats others leave like this we fined it boring to watched but its hard for them to leave in.

Angel123 Jan 25 2019 3:32 am What happen to Tae-Sik at the end? Why.... Why did the scene just stop at him sitting at a club engulf in fire!? Did he end up dying in the fire? Was he sentence for life in prison? Sentence to death? Hee-Joo should have at least visited him at the prison or probably at the grave (if he was scripted to die). Give us some closure >.<

John J Nov 18 2015 7:42 pm Stumbled upon this on Amazon and gave it a try....Wow, what a great movie. Started a little slow and just got better and better. Huh Yi-Jae stole the show...and my heart. Great job by all tho. So glad something made me click on this unknown gem!

Souad Oct 12 2015 8:03 pm One of the BEST BEST Korean movies, if you watch it, which I highly recommend, it will stay with you for a long time. I watched it a long time ago, probably 2 years ago and I loved it but I didn't know Kim Rae-Won at that time, but now I am watching his drama, A Thousand days' promise, I did a bit of search of his work and realised that this fantastic movie was his. I might watch the movie again, totally WORTH it.
