"Sign" covers the lives and difficulties of forensics doctors at the National Institute of Scientific Investigation. Go Da-Kyung (Kim Ah-Joong) is frequently scolded by Yoon Ji-Hoon (Park Shin-Yang), but still is tenacious in her purpose. A hidden truth also prevails in a mysterious case surrounding them and their organization.

sgt_doom Oct 11 2022 6:51 pm Overall a good drama series but Kim A–Joong was terribly miscast in this role--- either poor directing or acting but she comes across as a K–pop star more than a medical examiner or staid forensic examiner --- too hysterical in parts.

Hwang Sun–Hee should have been cast in the title role.

Shin–Yang's performance was top notch; ditto Lord GQ (Kwang–Leol)!

But i was so disappointed when PSY committed suicide and know there won't be part 2! Didn't know that the story was inspired by a real case. Really sad and angry to know that some people can get away with anything with money and connections! Please do more of this type of drama and expose all these type of criminal and murderer.

jinjoo Jun 06 2019 8:25 am i'm quite late watching this old drama of park shin yang (my all time favorite actor since lovers in paris) and fr epis 1 and 2 which i just started have been very interesting, suspenseful already! my only regret is that i shld've watched this while it was airing! once again park shin ssi never disappointed me/us with the kind of roles he portrayed then & now! love him so much & hope to see more of him! he's a talented actor and versatile at that!

Diane Jul 17 2018 11:04 pm Informative, suspenseful, and strangely moving, given the subject matter. I particularly enjoyed the lack of tropes, the subtle attractions, and the focus on ethics. My only complaint would be that it was not necessary to spend time with psychopaths to create tension...the drama was just fine without it.

I hate to say this but I don't recommend watching this drama even though it starts off really good, it somehow ends badly. But as an avid fan of park shinyang i must admit that he did great like always, his acting never disappoint

Danniah Jun 13 2017 10:04 am I just know that this drama was inspired by Deux's Kim Seung-jae case. The ending is so frustrated but I can understand as it was to potrayed the frustration of Kim Seung-jae's case. Even tho everyone in the world know who was the criminal but she could always go away as she has super rich and influential family. Maybe the ending wanted to describe that, unless there is new victim with super clear evidence, she will never be caught.

TMT Apr 19 2016 8:08 pm Its an ok drama if you got not much else to watch and some pretty decent episodes. What i like is Korean freedom of expression rights are pretty good. How many country allows their own tv stations to are critical views or condemning the government agencies and instituitions? Even US must air positive image FBI shows or positive CSI series for the government. In Singapore they arrest you for doing this kind of drama or perhaps sue you till you are bankrupt or withdraw advertising like the US. Entertainment wise this show is an ok fare not great or fantastic but wouldn't be a waste of your life.

Radhika Oct 19 2014 4:30 pm Seriously the worst ending ever!!!! I loved this drama in the beginning especially I loved Yoon Ji Hoon's character! And then it got very boring in the first middle half of the drama. So I slowed down in watching. And then suddenly I got really into it in the 2nd half of the drama and ended up watching like 8-9 eps in a row! And the last episode was the CRAPPIEST episode I have ever seen in any drama ever!! Overall average to good drama. I am a bit upset its over and bit sad because of the ending. Ahh I shud not have rushed and watched the whole thing so fast... I am seriously going through the withdrawal symptoms and feeling sad/depressed once a k-drama is over. I think its mostly cuz i watched too many episodes in a row and now its sunday and its work tomorrow...

Kin_Moon Jan 27 2013 8:58 pm This is a very good drama. Dr. Yoon Ji-Hoon gave his life because he was very determined to reveal the muderer. The flaw of this drama was doctors and assisstants did not wear masks and surgical caps during performing autopsy which is ridiculous. Dead bodies smell like anythng. Dr.Go Da-Kyung's hair style was horrible. No doctor in the earth has this hair style. The worst thing was her hair fall on the face while she performed surgery and touch her face with blood stained glove ... ugh.. please be realistic. Apart from that this drama is very good. It gave knowledge on Forensic Medicine. Thanks to Directors, film crew and SBS.

Park Shin is such a wonderful actor. And it also helps hes the handsomest thing in the WORLD. Screw all these little girly young looking things. This is a real man ;)
