Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki Staff ©
Miyabi Kusakabe (Anna Yamada) is a history otaku. In April of 2022, she enrolls in Ginkgo High School. She is assigned to an advanced class. When she meets her classmates, she is surprised to learn that her classmates have the same names as real historical figures from the Sengoku period. Their names include famous military generals like Nobunaga Oda (Ren Nagase), Hideyoshi Toyotomi (Daigo Nishihata), Mitsuhide Akechi (Riku Hagiwara), and Kenshin Uesugi (Atsuhiro Inukai). In reality, these students not only have the same names as famous historical figures, but they were actually cloned from the actual historical people. The students are then gathered at the school hall. There, the School Chief Director Yotaro Befunokami (Akira Emoto) announces that they will hold a "hatajirushisen," which is to select the strongest person at the school.
