Hanabi Yasuraoka (Miyu Yoshimoto) and Mugi Awaya (Dori Sakurada) look an ideal high school couple, but, they both like someone else. Hanabi Yasuraoka has liked Narumi Kanai (Kouki Mizuta) since she was a kid and Mugi Awaya likes his private tutor Akane Minagawa (Rina Aizawa).

As a couple, Hanabi Yasuraoka and Mugi Awayai have 3 conditions: they are not supposed to like each other, they will break up if either of them succeed in love with their secret crush and they will fulfill their physical desires.

Storyline my god how middle school girls and boys do that stuff...even adult mature person would hesitate for doing such a things omg I am surprised is this real culture of Japan ?? Casual s...even I can't write that word properly it's feel awkward No emotion ...only lust ?...feel like actors can't justify their character bcz of weak plot? I am very disappointed by the half ending,if 2nd part will come I would never watch it also recommend other never watch this kind of drama waste of time emotion expectations....

I dont usually watch japanese dramas but I just wanted to try one and i randomly picked this one.... when i was half way i couldn't understand the decisions each character was making... everything felt weird but I still made it to the end.... now when I think about the complete series it kind of makes sense but still sometimes it was too rash nevertheless I dont have any complaints with the cast.... though I dont really understand the ending.... if both of them did feel the same way then why did they think it was wrong if they get together... at many points in the series I wanted to kill Mugi... like how blind do you have to be to fall for the same lie again and again.... but still the series was able to show the desperation one can have due to unrequited feelings.... this whole thing could have gone wrong if the characters were not portrayed well but it managed to get me curious enough to watch next episodes.... but I have to say that I was taken aback by some scenes which were too intimate and I was not looking forward to... see every person has different opinions about things and in my opinion if you want to watch something which shows the desperation of being wanted and the stupid steps taken because of that feeling you can watch it... you'll get an idea about it in first episode itself... a d if you are not a fan of an open ending then definitely dont watch it... you'll just regret watching the complete 12 episodes just to see them part ways in search of " true love" when there obviously a spark ( or maybe a whole forest burning) between them....

IMO, Dori Sakurada is enough for Mugi role, no more no less. The anime Mugi surely good-looking, but not that usual handsome type so does Dori. Since i don't know Ryo Yoshizawa that y'all recommend, I check him and yeah he's handsome and he must be a good actor but he will overdo the character of Mugi. He's capable for bigger and stronger role but not Mugi. I think Mugi character is a so-so male student with well-explored sexual activities, but he simply choose not to be a fuckboy. He is just a regular boy with pretty good sex knowledge. A cool and calm person like Dori Sakurada nailed this character. His "sexiness" measurement is fitted. Ryo Yoshizawa and other actors that yall recommend is too sexy or even too cute for this kind of character.

But as for Hanabi, I agree with the comment below me that recommend Rena Takeda. Physically, Takeda's face is really innocent and similar to the anime Hanabi. Actually Miyu Yoshimoto too already did a good job portraying Hanabi, but her charisma is more like strong-independent-girl instead of innocent female student that craving for affection from her crush.

As for another character, Rina Aizawa as Minagawa is suitable enough. Coz just like Mugi, she hides her sexual activities and appears as educated and kindhearted teacher. The actress who portrat her should not be too hot or too weak.

Rina Aizawa should not be Minagawa sensei... it would have been better ... if they would have reina triendl played the role! And hanabi should be rena takeda instead of miyu yoshimoto... and ryo yoshizawa should have be mugi not dori sakurada!! dori sakurada looks like kaneki of tokyo ghoul! mio imada should have been moka chan!!

I just found it on KissAsian and decided to give it a try and was shocked because I don't have any idea what's the story about (you know the r-18 scenes) LMAO. But...I have to say I loved this drama, watched it within a night. First of all genres like this should be made more, its realistic and sentimental and talks of truth. Growing up is hard, yet we go through all these mixed feelings in order to complete ourselves, this drama portrayed it really good.

Seriously hoping for Mugi and Hanabi to be together since they've being through so much. And I'm certian they linger feelings for each other deep down inside.

I might sound weird but....the intimate contact between Mugi and Hanabi was kinda cute. Altogether good drama good story line. Just waiting for the more of this goodness!!!!

Raijin Dec 12 2017 10:24 pm I don't know why but it moved me. I accept there is lot of kissing scene's it doesn't made me happy but sad, showing the reality between those two. I got tears in my eyes, don't want this happen to anyone in real life. Title actually suits the anime & it's now on my favorite lists.

kira22 Sep 26 2017 12:13 am kudos to the two leads! they're both versatile actors, there's a LOT of awkward matured scenes but they've acted it out naturally .The story is unique and tackles the different forms of love you just can't stop watching it till the end

It's a Dark Romance genre as I read. Good adaption so far and the camera angle is perfect. They nailed it. Waiting waiting for next episode both anime/live.

I would love to know how this is able to fly over there on tv, but I'm used to watching things that are Kdramas so maybe Jdramas have a little bit more leeway on there sexual/kissing scenes.

I don't know if this is good news or not because I don't think this will be appropriate for general viewers >_> (except if they do make huge changes in the plot but I doubt it). The manga is so-so but I think there are way better mangas out there that should have anime and drama adaptation *sigh*

This is just... my opinion though. Read the manga and you'll be enlightened, but if you don't want to be spoiled, then don't read. This will not be your usual romance drama, afterall.
