Saki (Yukie Nakama) works as a nurse in the children’s ward. She appears to be an ideal woman, having a beautiful appearance, considerate personality and enjoying cooking as a hobby. Saki though has a darker side. She seduces men and destroys them.

Emma Aug 04 2021 5:37 am This is one of the most memorable Japanese Dramas ever. Yukie is excellent as always. I have been a fan since Gokusen's days. I like this kind of genre but not everybody can pull it off. The fatal attraction with a twist and yes, a kinda devil in an angel face or like, is she really bad or if they deserve it?

Good cast overall!

She didn't dislike men, she sought revenge against 5 men she thought killed her Mother. Nice drama At the end it explains why she targeted these individuals. She was quite crafty in how she sought her revenge!

This was one of the most memorable J-drama I've seen in years. The rating was surprisingly low considering it was a great drama and the cast was very good. Yukie Nakama was amazing as Saki in her demure, ruthless, and conflicting nature; I thought this was her best performance yet. Shohei Miura was great as Hayato too. It was my first time seeing him but I thought he had presence on screen and had a pretty good chemistry with Yukie that it made me wish they weren't siblings.

The ending was kind of open-ended and it made me wonder whose child she was carrying at the end. Maybe there will be a 2nd season (I'm crossing my fingers) and we'll get to know this mystery.

Aldricho Sep 17 2013 4:45 pm has striking similarities (not to mention her first name on this series) to her 2011 drama Utsukushii Rinjin, she also sits on a similar rocking chair like the one here in Saki? and almost the same personality...coincidence???? o.O

Natski Sep 04 2013 4:37 am Yukie Nakama's best work so far. I've never been scared of being a man like this since Fatal Attraction. Saki may be a cold and heartless psychopath but she is REALLY GOOD at what she does.

yumi Aug 23 2013 11:26 pm I have no idea why the ratings weren't higher on this drama. the psychological aspect was completely mind-blowingly awesome and i'm a sucker for psychological dramas. the cinematography (in terms of colors) is really beautiful and nakama yukie is hauntingly mesmerizing and slightly scary...
