Park Min Jun 03 2023 12:04 pm This drama was very strange and unconventional, in a bad way. To state the obvious, everything about this drama was low quality but that doesn't excuse the inept talents behind it. Especially the director whom has no experience or whatsoever. Weird edits/cuts, messed up pacing, incoherent storytelling, flawed production, failing cast. All of that was amplified by 10 folds in the 2nd half, most notably with the cast. The cast was somewhat ordinary at first but the infection spread down from the director to them and they became obedient to the director's wishes. They began having strange dialogue insertions, extremely over dramatic and cartoonish moments, and cringe-worthy and misplaced gestures/body language. The infection spread even further to the writing department and the whole production was infected at that point. The writing was nothing but bad, it's a poorly written story no matter how you look at it, its execution was even poorer. Even the characters weren't safe, for some reason, they made all females selfish, needy and entitled and made all males pathetic and stupid. This drama serves as a good example for what's considered objectively bad.

zombie Mar 22 2018 1:52 pm im amazed at what i had accomplished i finished this drama a grueling 174 epi wow i should congratulate myself for the most part it dragged a lot so i kept skipping all the time hoping that it will turn around and so it happened in the last 30 epi or so it became so interesting the casting was great only with the exception of the auntie san chung her voice is just too nagging my fav characters were the priest, the eldest daughter and the autistic boy i liked the mom too but in another drama not in this one her role was too quiet too subtle i give this drama 5 out of 10 only the last epi were good i dont recommend this for people with little patience

arizonagirl Mar 23 2017 1:42 am Jung-Hee always wants to control her husband. I feel bad for Min-Hyuk as he at times is treated terribly. Why can't JH let her do what he wants. If he wants to help out the goofy lady in Mrs. Lee's restaurant, so be it, it is not the end of the world.

Cannot stand Myung-Sook - I hate the way she talks and is continually out to get her hands on Kyu-Tak 's money and his hotel and whatever else she can get out of him. I can understand why Woo-Jin wants his father to give her the hotel - so Myung-Sook can stop blackmailing and harassing Ms. Lee and Jung-So, but not sure if that is a good idea. I don't trust Myung-Sook at all. She won't stop there.

Andy Jul 25 2016 1:58 am I feel Wujin made a mistake having Je=Ni move back in with him. I don't think he feels 100% yet with her and I believe he did that to pacify her. But her mother wants Wujin and Je-Ni to get back together so she can get her hand's on Kyu-Tak's money through her daughter. Big mistake as Myung-Sook still has alot of tricks up her sleeve.

And Ms. Lee's ex-husband and his idiot girlfriend are nothing but big con people and users. They want Ms. Lee to marry Kyu-Tak so they can leach off him. Stupid people. I feel sorry for their little boy.

arizona girl Jul 08 2016 3:28 am I assume Ms. Lee's ex-husband and his mistress are not a match for her 9 year old son???? I wonder if Min-Hyuk will agree to do it??? His wife, Jung-Hee, will kill him if she finds out. I doubt if Min-Hyuk could do it as Jung-Hee doesn't let him out of the house. I guess the girl that was after him finally decided to leave him alone. I thought she was a better match for Min-Hyuk.

I find it strange that Wujin and his dad just take Myung-Sook's word that Wujin is his son without going for a blood test to truly find out if they are related. I thought that was rather stupid since they know she will try anything to get the gallery in her hands. Wujin's father is stupid at times.

Ms. Lee's husband is worthless. He and his mistress just use whoever they can for their own means. They hit the jackpot when they showed up by his wife, Ms. Lee and his children.

Angeline Jun 23 2016 2:58 am Hong Kyu-Tak is so sarcastic to Mr.Kim, his secretary. I don't know how the men work for their bosses as in other shows some of the bosses treat their secretaries like a piece of meat. Punching, yelling at them, etc. Mr. Kim appears to be a quiet well mannered man, and concerned for Kyu-Tak. Who needs to be treated like a fool.

I wonder what Ms Lee will think when she finds out Kyu-Tak got her ex-husband and his mistress an apartment to live in. The mistress is a con artist. It is Chung-Daek's fault for telling the mistress she had Mr. Kim's phone number and then as stupid as she is, she gives the mistress the phone number.

I doubt that the older daughter is Kyu-Tak's real daughter. I think Jung-Soo could be, but not sure. I am surprised Jung Hee doesn't take a test to be sure she is his daughter. And stupid Kyu-Tak believes what Myung-Sook's tells him without asking Ms. Lee or finding out the truth. Maybe he will in one of the forth coming episodes.

Angeline Jun 22 2016 2:40 am I don't care for Hong Kyu-Tak for some reason. Something about his mannerisms or personality bothers me. I saw him in Great First Wives and he seemed OK in that drama, but for some reason in this show he is arrogant at times. Some times I don't like his attitude or how he treats people, like Mr. Kim.

He should know that the love of his life, Soon Jin, would not approve of him giving money to her husband and his mistress. He does things behind her back.

Soon Jin's husband and his mistress are con artists.

Je-Ni mentioned to Jung-Chul one time that "she wished her husband would treat her like he does." Didn't he hear that???? Strange things happen in this show.

Star Wars Fan Jun 21 2016 3:13 am Chung-Dae has a big mouth. She doesn't know when to keep it shut. She tells everything to the husband and his girlfriend, or whatever she is, about Soon-Jin and the chairman. She needs to learn to keep her mouth shut. If Soon-Jin would want her husband to know everything about her relationship with the chairman, she would tell him. Chung-Dae is so stupid she tells the mistress that she has the phone number for Mr Kim who works for the chairman. Now the mistress will try to suck money out of him, like Soon-Jin's husband is doing with whoever he can get money from.

Sunbeam Jun 10 2016 10:58 pm Jung-Chul and Jung-Hee are obnoxious and greedy. They want their mother to marry Hong Kyu-Tak so they can live off their money. Why doesn't Jung-Chul go look for a job? Does he live off his mother?

Jung-Hee's husband I understand is a teacher. Now she has him confined to the house??? What - he can just stop teaching to accommodate his wife. He is not bringing any money in either. I think the young girl who is after him is a better match for him than his crude wife.

arizonagirl Jun 01 2016 6:02 pm I love Jung Woo. He is so cute in his role and the actor is doing a great job in portraying his character. I wish I could find out some info on him.

The father is really crude. But due to the fact that Ms. Lee told him she never loved him when they got married, he decided to seek love elsewhere. Still he is imposing on his wife and their children by moving him with them and then his girlfriend or whatever she is also moves in and she thinks she is entitled to be there.

arizona girl May 06 2016 1:40 am Was Lee Young-Suk (Jung Woo) in any other dramas??? I can't find anything on him. He did an excellent acting job in this show. I would like to see what else he was in.

The writing is excellent and I hope that KTSF in San Francisco continues to show this series. I get up early in the morning to see this show. It is ADDICTING!
