Tetsuo (Choei Takahashi) is a sincere 76-years-old man and single. He barely maintains his small factory. He just finished his father's funeral who passed away at the ago of 100. One day, Tetsuo's older brother Kinnosuke (Shinichi Yanagisawa) suddenly appears in front of him. Kinnosuke left home 40 years ago and he is now 80-years-old. Kinnosuke is not alone. He is with a younger woman Juri (Takako Tsuchiya). Soon, Tetsuo, Kinnosuke and Juri begin to live together.
