Plot
Pang (Simon Lui) is a no-nonsense cop who's the best there is at what he does - but his personal life pays the price. His loving wife (Fennie Yuen) has started to stray, and Pang is simply too decent to confront her with her infidelity. When a particularly sordid murder case arrives, Pang buries himself deeper into his work...but this case may not be what it seems. The victim is prostitute Wyman (Pauline Chan), who was killed one evening in the Paramount Motel. The suspects include motel owner Ada Choi, as well as Wyman's best pal Pinky Cheung. But more disturbingly, everything leads to crimelord Master Sun (Di Lung). Eventually, Pang must confront Master Sun about the murder, and the answers he seeks may threaten everything he holds dear!
