Tokyo detective Takako Otomichi (Yoshino Kimura) leaves for Tachikawa City to join the investigation of a bizarre, possible, homicide case. A businessman entered a family restaurant alone. Shortly later, the man burst into flames. The forensic team discover residue that they believe was a chemical detonator on the man's belt. They also discover large dog-like bite marks on the man's thigh.
Detective Takako Otomichi (Isao Hashizume) is then paired with Tachikawa police officer Tamotsu Takizawa to unravel this mysterious case. They soon learn that the victim, Takuma Sugawara ran a dating club in the same building as the family restaurant. He was also previously connected with the underground nightclub world in Roppongi. Before long, a second murder occurs linking the deaths to a wolflike predator ....
