Notes

“One Fine Day” is a drama about a girl who works at an aquarium as an aquarist, that reunites with her brother from whom she’s been separated for 15 years. Different from other dramas, this one was shot in Australia, giving the viewers many beautiful new locations to look at. As it introduces a new kind of occupation, called an aquarist, it uses many different kinds of underwater filming techniques. These new techniques use a HD camera, which captivates the viewers with great pictures.

Veronica Feb 07 2022 10:59 am I decided to watch this because I am a big fan of Namkoong Min. I also like Gong Yoo. If not for these two, I think the drama would have been really boring.

Namkoong Min definitely didn't disappoint - even though he was still in the earlier point of his acting career at that time, he was already a really good actor and you can see the star quality building up. The voice and that smile! The complaint I have is that he should have gotten more air time even as the second male lead.

GY's character wasn't well written but he was able to make it likable and you can already see the star quality in him back then.

As for the other characters, I think none of them were very well written and the story line including the step sibling love was a very typical k drama during that early to mid 2000 timeframe.

Lily d May 24 2021 3:20 pm The only redeeming factors for this drama were Gong Yoo and Namgoong Min. The plot itself is sickening and frustrating. I watched because of Gong Yoo but fell in love with the second lead.

pink28 Feb 07 2017 12:51 am Such a beautiful drama and will definitely remain as one of my all-time favorites. I was looking for a Gong Yoo drama to watch after Goblin and I am so glad that I made the choice to watch this. Gong Yoo and Sung Yuri's chemistry was so amazing. I just wish the ending was a bit longer.

Quite a nice drama though I was just a bit disappointed because I taught the lead actor is Namgung Min but as the story progress, his character turned out to be a supporting role. and come to think of it, the only reason I watched this drama is because of Namgung Min! anyways,I am happy that at least I was able to watch the early dramas of my favorite Korean actor Namgung Min (",)

Faithnomore Dec 27 2014 7:48 am OMG!!!...Gong Yoo, so adorably cute and amazing as always! Namgung Min, so gorgeously cute and so kind! Sung Yu-Ri beautiful but still cannot act..(.sorry to her fans) heck, everytime I have come across Sung Yu-Ri, her acting is still the same....boring without talent, BUT shes beautiful, Lee Yeon-Hee on the other hand, fabulous actress, love your work, but this drama made you so annoying and so childish and so annoying....YAH!, LYH, your ability to make me want to strangle you must be really good..All characters were selfish, stupid, arrogant, frustrating, annoying except for GY and NM...both lead and support were amazing, heck if it werent for these two gorgeous men, I wouldnt have watched til the end OMG!!..Storyline was a bit sensitive of course, but then at the end of the day, it was handled appropriately I guess even though it was hard to digest at times....Still, thank you for One fine Day, easy to watch drama....

BoriBaby Mar 13 2013 3:19 pm one of the best? this was the worst drama ever I don't recommend it a at all worst ending ever! I mean why didn't they make them meet even after wasting 3 years it would've been a happy ending if they met again, Hyo Joo is the most disgusting b*tchy secondary lead girl I've ever watched! I dislike her. She ruins the whole drama. She's so annoying, cruel, selfish while the secondary male lead is so noble. Hyo Joo's father and brother are so selfish too. In the end Ha Neul and Gun gets separated because of Hyo Joo, all that fighting against everybody for that horrible end. I wasted 15 hours to this drama in vain. If the ending sucks, it erases the good moments and the last scene's weird :S.

John Dec 26 2012 1:39 pm Very well made and well acted touching drama. Touches on some pretty rough subject mattervin a mature way. Very satisfying, but TOO SHORT !!!
