Plot
Daijiro wakes to discover a letter from his lover Ling. She has left him and set off to become a receptionist for her hero and fantasy, Jackie Chan. He is left heartbroken by this and decides to leave Japan and he too sets off to Hong Kong, to try and win back his love.
Upon arriving he meets up with Kenichi who promptly finds him a place to live and a job… as a stuntman for Sammo Hung. Daijiro has never done any stuntwork before but no problem as he sees this as a great way of getting Ling back in his arms. All he has to do is earn the title of #1 stuntman.
Things get complicated though, as Daijiro returns home one evening to discover a Chinese illegal immigrant under his bed. Neither speaks the same language so they enlist the help of Ling as a translator between the two. It transpires that Ching was split up from her HK boyfriend Ming and she is trying to find him so they can marry. Daijiro agrees to help her find Ming but the pair are soon falling for each other, to the great annoyance of Ling who prefers Daijiro’s attentions all for herself.
