Shuhei Suenaga (Ken Mitsuishi) is the vice principal of a high school in Kitakyushu. One day, he has a meal at a restaurant where his ex-student Minami Hiraga (Miyu Yoshimoto) works, but he forgets to pay
for his meal there. It becomes apparent that Shuhei Suenaga's memories are fading. He feels like his life isn't going to be the same as it used to be. He wonders if his life was great before his memories began to fade, but it wasn't. He has a chilly relationship with his wife Akiko (Maki Sakai) and his daughter Mayu (Haruka Kudo) seems more interested in her smartphone than her family. The time that he also spent with his friend Keiji Ishida (Yutaka Matsushige) doesn't mean anything to him. To make a change in his life, he begins to fix his relationship with those around him.
